I absolutely love the promotional picture! She pulls off the style flawlessly! But I guess it's to be expected since she is a model, lol. Anyways, I'm super excited about her collaboration with Kuromi! Even though the line is for kids, I can't wait to see her twist on it. Plus, I'm a fan of Kuromi (I have pajamas, slippers, seat covers, etc.) so the collaboration of two things I love is a plus.

Guyyys!! It's been revealed that MIYAVI plays the guitar in Master Blaster!! He's the guest guitarist! As you know, Yoko Kanno is the composer of the song, Anna sings it, and Tim Jensen is the lyricist

I'll wait til my single arrives home to watch JUICY GIRL and Stayin Alive, but I'll watch Master Blaster xD I'm not sure if I'll be able to resist - EDIT - Talkin about PVs... according to Shuga Shikao's blog... there will be a PV for S.ex. his song with Anna included on SEAMO's BEST collaboration album... I'm wondering if the 4th track name is "Unchained Girl"... I don't think so, it'd be weird if she name a single with the title of the bside, but who knows...? lol I hope the 4th track is not a remix... U__U

there are only the three tracks, the 4th track as listed on CDJ (Neowing) is "4. (予定情報)全3曲収録予定 " which means "scheduled information - 3 tracks in total scheduled" I have no idea why they always list it like that, they just always do for every artist now. (they add an extra track in to tell you what the current info on the release is, it usually gets removed once the final tracklist is out, and they update it.)
as for the title, her official site, etc. etc. has always listed the title as "Stayin Alive/JUICY GIRL feat.The SAMOS/Master Blaster(仮)" the (仮) means temporary, so yeah, we were always going to get an updated title. |
ohh i see. so it's still those 3 songs, then. i'm good with that as long as "JUICY GIRL" is one of them, haha. i love that song so much just by it's preview. :P

Anna Tsuchiya to sing for Kamen Rider

"Kamen Rider Fourze", the latest show in the franchise, begins airing Sunday at 8:30 AM and will feature Tsuchiya singing the opening theme "Switch On!". The theme was revealed as a last minute announcement as the theme song artists are typically announced three to four weeks prior to the start date at the press conferences. eh I kinda like JUICY GIRL even though I feel the PV could have been much better put together as it really reminds me of flumpool's Natsu Dive (the walking that's done from the start to end) & also ayumi's Microphone (the rewinding effect)

I think the song is a bit long for what it is, but I'll definitely listen to it haha.

Master Blaster is amazing , I knew when I heard the preview , I was going to like the full song & it's so much better/nicer than JUICY GIRL
But I'm sorry to say this but the PV doesn't make any sense to me ~_~ Shouldn't the director come up with a RPG like concept to match the song ? *cough like what happened to ayumi's progress also ick , kick ass song but the PV's well ~_~ I thought the fight scenes in Master Blaster were un-necessary & I don't understand the logic to it :x Anyway *shrugs , Master Blaster is awesome , probably hands down 1 of Anna's best A-sides <3 |

I still feel the songs in UNCHAINED GIRL are great . It's way better than Atashi & Shout in the rain & also Master Blaster is just brillant but the PVs in UNCHAINED GIRL are something to be left desired about
I prefer if all 3 PVs are different , instead of being stringed together to form a story plot & in the process , everything looks really ... cheap :x |
It's so strange that both "Juicy Girl feat. The SAMOS" and "Master Blaster" PVs can both be played in the US yet "Stayin Alive" can't. I hope they decide to make it available soon though because I'm loving what I'm hearing from the sample of the song on her website but I do want to see the PV. As far as the PVS go though, I agree with you 100% Karen. I too would have preferred a different concept for each of the PVs to fit the songs. The songs are awesome but the PVs are definetely lackluster.
