god, the lyrics makes me love the song now and I realize its melody is actually very beautiful, the only annoying thing is that Utada sings more than 50% of the song, it sounds like Ayu just sing back-up or it's like she just sings the background and he 's the main singer of the song. i dont hate his voice but I dont know who arranges this song to be like this. This song 's more suitable with Ayu voice as a leading singer. Hope the original version which will appear in album or some version/remix later can change this. I dont know but I see the audio of Dream on and another TV live, their voice really blends together and goes well but in Ayu CDL, the same situation as Another song happens again, I dont know why she lets her voice be swallowed by him, they intend or something? I dont like it though the song is good itself...I think she should find someone else if she wanna make a duet. I feel Why feat JUNO sounds much better in terms of combination and Love since 1999 in the past 's also good in terms of duet

Almost reads like it's written for Nagase. Of course she also writes about her friends situations in life too, not just hers.

This song has grown on me, especially after watching the video. The music is so serene but there is something very sad about it.

After reading the lyrics I have fallen in love with this song. Ayu's lyrics usually are more cryptic, so I think everyone will appreciate how direct, sincere, and powerful these lyrics are, mostly because they are SO relatable.

At first I was a bit nervous about Five, but after listening to the whole album and watching all the PVs I think this stuff is just as good as her Love songs material.

Hmm, ayu said in Twitter before that this song is very precious for both her and Naoya, so I would think the lyrics are meant for someone they both know, instead of just ayu singing about Mannie.

I heard the song for the first time at the last a-nation concert and was wiping off tears as it sounded so touching, even though I could figure out only "aishiteiru yo" at that time. It seems that I got the right feeling of the song's meaning immediately, thanks to the great performance by Ayu and Urata~
