The plagiarism claims are ridiculous. There's a slight similarity, but nothing major. People need to get a life.

ugh another song with that stupid swing beat. SERIOUSLY all these songs ALWAYS sound the damn same. Because all these producers keep doing the same **** with them.
There are similarities, but for me, there aren't enough to say her people copied. Why should they? It's not that hard to come up with this melody. I actually wish, if they DID copy...they should have stole more. His song > her song. |
I can definitely hear it, but I don't really care, So many songs sound similar these days.

My sentiments exactly. They DO in fact sound similar but I've heard other songs that adopted the same melody over the years. In all honesty its nothing to rage about. :yawn

Just heard G Dragon's song and I find no similarities...
But what makes me laugh the most of that article is that they accused Namie to plagiarize Janet Jackson with Black Diamond when that song is DOUBLE's one =P Namie is just featured in it. |

They shouldn't take offense. I'm a Kpop fan too and some of my favorite Kpop artists have "borrowed" tunes from others. Like PSY - Champion using the Axel F tune. Gotta them older Kpop songs though :laugh |

I'm pretty sure they said they were making one for Sit!Stay!Wait!Down! but whatever. As long as Love Story gets a PV, I'm happy. I'd prefer a ballad PV than a dance PV.

Just preordered the CD only version of "Sit! Stay! Wait! Down! / Love Story on CDJ! There are only a few more first presses left so I'm happy I was able to get my order in before they ran out. I'm looking forward to hearing all the songs in full and seeing what the holiday card looks like!

Hmm. IMO, it feels like Love Story's a sequel to The Meaning of Us lol. But it looks pretty nice so far. Hopefully there'll be an interesting twist to it....

Really enjoyed this one! Nice PV, she keeps the drama minimal and it feels more sorrowful. Also, her mention of "Girl Talk" was nice too, though I'm not completely sold on the chorus yet. It sounds a bit strained I think, but the verses are amazing; the bridge especially. "Love Story" is definitely the star of the single. But who knows? I am hoping that "Higher" and "arigatou" will surprise me :D
