...Lady Gaga? xD Is there any reason to believe she will perform or 100% speculation?

TofuBunny 12th November 2011 05:12 PM

Wohaa JGS :thud

AND YES I hope Shojo Jidai does go, I need more SNSD/Perfume interactions in my life .. And meeting AKB officially wouldn't hurt either :luv2

AyuGAME 13th November 2011 12:55 AM

Maybe red team could win this year...i think Girls is more popular lately

emi♡ 13th November 2011 01:14 AM

very interesting list~~ Always going for the red team :bsigh Shall they finally win...

odd about Lady Gaga, but I hope it's true~~ Ayu's placement is weird. Guess we'll see how it really turns out.

dreamland2.0 13th November 2011 03:39 AM

Go go Red Team!!

y_nathz 13th November 2011 08:50 AM

woah Lady Gaga for real ? XD
Go Red Team!! :banana1

terra 14th November 2011 06:03 AM

Gaga could be this year's guest like they had Enya and Susan Boyle

The Red Team roster is very interesting! :heart I hope to see SNSD x KARA x Perfume x AKB interractions plus I hope they could bring the red team to winning this year! :yes

EDIT
Seeing how ayu has lately always act as opener for the sake of CDL, I guess the list is not performance-wise.
And with Gayo shows in Korea too SNSD and KARA probably ended up on early performance too since they maybe have to come back to Korea

Do people read anymore? This is a prediction. Of course it's not going to be in order and of course not every one actually gets invited (I can see one right away who was "predicted" last year but didn't get to go).

sesshy 14th November 2011 08:34 AM

Seems interesting but waiting for official. Hope to see Tohoshinki there again. :) But I might be a little sad though since the last time they perform was the last as the 5. *cries*

mellody 14th November 2011 08:40 AM

I heard Lady Gaga invited because she donates lot of money for Japan among other international celebrity. Even though if it's true, it's just too weird for me.

There's no way Red Team would lose this year since that popular child actress Ashida Mana is there.

That list only a speculation though.

tokyoxjapanxfan 14th November 2011 08:55 AM

^ That's correct. They invited Lady Gaga because of her support after the earth quake. Of course nothing is 100% confirmed yet, but there's a high possibility of her showing up because I believe there was an article a few weeks back with her expressing her wanting to go.

But obviously if she's already been scheduled for performing live in NYC or LA or something on New Year's Eve, she can't be in Japan as well lol. There's also the chance of a televised performance :P

Aderianu 14th November 2011 09:04 AM

L'Arc~en~Ciel in White Team

Midori-chan 14th November 2011 10:43 AM

It's only a prediction, but I hope to see Ayu and Tohoshinki there!
Arashi goes without saying, because they are the hosts! :laugh

Utena 14th November 2011 11:11 AM

I hope it'll be completed coz I don't see Mika Nakashima O.O

the3ye 14th November 2011 01:09 PM

^ also, I heard ayaka will be there as well

YUKARI 14th November 2011 04:43 PM

wow the line-up looks nice! I hope it will be confirmed :D and yes, I'm sure the red team will win this year :D

Plus, her album sold very well in Japan, which makes she got another reason why she's invited to this prestigious show. As long as you've got the popularity and you've got the sales and/or are part of the theme of Kouhaku, then yes, you can be there.

Remember that Kouhaku theme this year is, “Ashita wo Utaou. (Let’s sing for tomorrow).” It is to make 2011/12/31 as “the day to take the first step like 123″, and make it a positive show in order to step forward to a bright tomorrow.

So yeah.

YuriChan 15th November 2011 10:30 AM

Oo! I see ayu, Kuu, Kana, SNSD, KARA, and Porno Graffitti! <3 I wouldn't be surprised if PG performed at Kohaku again! XDD

C+R+E+AYUMI 15th November 2011 11:31 AM

Lady GaGa?? LOL XD

YUKARI 15th November 2011 04:20 PM

^ I think it's more likely she will perform. She attended MTV Video Music Aid Japan too this year.

TofuBunny 30th November 2011 04:25 AM

Guess who just got confirmed ?

TVXQ, KARA & SNSD confirmed for Japan’s “Red and White Singing Battle”

SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed for this year’s NHK‘s “Red and White Singing Battle” (Kōhaku Uta Gassen).

Japan’s Sankei Sports and other newspapers reported that SNSD and KARA will join the list of attendees for the first time and TVXQ will be attending for the group’s third time in a row.

This is an annual event held in Japan. At this event, fifty singers and groups come on, split up into the Red team and the White team and sing their heart out.

Sankei Sports said, “It was already big news that Korean stars Jang Geuk Suk, Supernova, 2PM and SHINee would be performing at the event, [so it's exciting that] SNSD, KARA and TVXQ have been confirmed as well.”
