It's more that Kuu isn't "in" or solo artists in general and of course that she's pregnant and not available at all for the public at the moment. |

Could someone help me with the clear file that comes with first press of JAPONESQUE? Is the image the same as the cover of the version that was bought?
Or is it based on the retailer? Which version did cdjapan have? |

I think that looking at feedback for artists online is a little misleading, especially on site where people can just vote stuff down without an account. The haters love to go around and do that, kinda like how the Kuu threads were being voted down here on AHS. Some people are immature.

At first I was worried for the sales for JAPONESQUE, but I don't think it is doing bad at all. It's doing the same as Dejavu in it's 2nd week, and I heard it was down to #5 the other day, but now its at #4, so I think all is good! :D
The Driving Hit's 4 cover is awesome! Very pretty. :D I have to say though, I love JAPONESQUE, but after this and Dejavu, it would be nice to see Kuu go back to more of her Jpop routes. :) Like she used to, more Jpop influenced by western, instead a lot of western songs :) https://www.facebook.com/media/set/?...4137694&type=1 Some Screenshots of Kuu talking about JAPONESQUE on Goo Talk. EDIT: She talks really fast as always >.< Some points: -Why JAPONESQUE as title? => She went overseas various times and she noticed that Korean, Thai and Chinese songs were being played a lot, but hardly any Japanese songs were being played. She hopes more Japanese music will be played overseas. She kept that in mind while making JAPONESQUE. -She thinks JAPONESQUE is an album that you can always listen to –– it has cool songs, catchy songs and ballads etc. -JAPONESQUE's cover/booklet is Japanese-like while staying true to her Koda Kumi image at the same time. |

I'm wondering if someone here can help me. I was listening to Driving Hit's 2, to the last track, love across the ocean [Caramel Pod Remix]. I'm wondering is there a more specific name for this genre of song? The way the keyboards sound at the beginning of the song, and the whole feel of it, I love. I've found a few songs that sound like that, they have a very 1990's dance feel to them, but I don't know what kind of music it is besides just "house". So yeah, does anyone know if there is a specific genre name for house songs with heavy use of keyboards?

Anyway, I just realized that I miss Kuu so much. It makes me think of 2008 when she had suspended her activities because of that scandal. It felt so painful and like it would last forever. I hate waiting and when it comes Kuu, I tend to forget she's pregnant and on hiatus. Awesome that my queens from J-pop and western pop are definitely fans of each other. Kuu seems to have some influences from Gaga as well. I don't mind that at all. I adore them both equally as my number ones musical acts <3

I'm mainly a lurker in this thread and i rarely post. But i just have to say that the middle photo is the most breathtaking photo of Kuu i have ever seen!

^Come to think of it, that's actually the same shade my hair colour is now, haha! It's more of a strawberry/honey blonde, or honey copper. :) What country do you live in? There's a colour by Superdrug (not sure if Superdrug is outside UK) called 'Honey Copper' which is the same shade, and also the one I used. :)

I love how bold she is with her music. Even though the tracks on Japonesque aren't exactly what the Japanese listen to, she still went for it and wanted to do it. But, she's always been bold like that, with her ero-kawaii style. Its what I love about her. She's so confident in herself and does these bold yet sexy things. Even my mom respects and likes that. She really enjoys watching Kuu confidently own a stage, and even doesn't mind her sexiness because she is in admiration of how confident Kuu is doing it. People think she's being a skank or just being Western with her image, but she's really just trying to be a real woman in a place where being a little girl is considered more sexy. She's so inspiring. Even if her lyrics are a bit shallow, she herself touches my heart. This is why I love Kuu. /end fangirl mushy rant. EDIT: Also, this, SO MUCH: “Girl talk.
