how beautiful you are PV/making from Mezamashi TV
 

I wanted to see if I could see the PV/making on Mezamashi TV so I watched Keyhole TV for about 30 seconds before the PV came on! The PV is GORGEOUS but the concept is very much Christina Aguilera's Beautiful in nature.

- The PV is in monochrome
- Ayu wears a HUGE gown (well, there's a piece attached to it that is huge)
- She has pink hair
- There are sequences where she's walking directly to the camera with the dress flowing around her and a key point is that a HUGE electric fan is generating the wind for this
- The people hired for this video are of various types hugging one another... when I was watching I saw Masaki Koh hugging his boyfriend and someone with a prosthetic leg getting embraced as well. I think they just have various people showing that they love each other with nothing too raunchy... it was very beautiful. They'll probably feature another same sex couple and maybe a few interracial ones as well?
- The scenes I saw were mainly Ayu standing there looking amazing, shots of the couples changing from the same camera angle, and the couples slowly walking past Ayu while she's singing

you've seen a preview, is it just Ayu & couples in a black background or..? :)
oh and her hair is long & pink :D

gotta say that PV is monochrome but you can see Ayu hair a bit pinky, not white, at least to me
FujiTV showed this actor couple, an old couple, 2 european girls hugging each other
what is interesting is that each couple is hugging differently, lol. a girl hugs another from behind, the guys that hug look like they're about to kiss, and the old couple just hugs with a lot of love :)
and yes, the PV is just in a black background, but....
they showed the piece of the ending of the PV, and there Ayu went forward with dress floating everywhere & around her and people, many people of different nationalities & age came running from behind, it looks like, from behind her dress like they're struggling against the wind (or her dress? XD). she goes forward slowly and they run fast :)

She's had this color before, I think, during the RAINBOW era and it looked fine then as it does now! She had more pink back then though.

So like the love version of Born to Be... in it's concept? Showing all kinds of love like BtB was about peoples dreams :D Such a cute and simple concept.

So excited for the pink hair and big gowns ♥

The message to me is "All love is beautiful." as it relates to the song since the PV concept is the various shapes of love.

Why she is using the pink wig if it's black&white, lol. It's definitely the same wig (or similar) cause it looks very "wiggy" when she is talking during the making off.

It looks a bit awkward, but that's how things are when there's a strong wind blowing. I think they also had to cover their eyes so they didn't dry out. The people walking on Ayu's sides were probably getting most of the wind since it seems like it didn't look like it was hitting her face.

^^Without reading the English translation of the lyrics of the song, the music video is confusing. I think there is a chance that anyone who does not speak japanese will not understand the pv, since it is not straightforward like Days and How beautiful you are.

Not really though...because even for me, who understands the lyrics, I mean the PVs may make a LITTLE more sense, but her PVs are never just straightforward. They always make you think.

I was always confused at the end of Moon's PV. It switches to her and the dog playing...
I never really got around to reading the lyrics, but it seemed it was for her dog.. it was sad and everything... didn't her dog die around that time?

I'm excited for this. I don't care if it's done to death (love is love, etc etc) because it's still a message that hasn't seemed to have sunk into most of the world. I will always be happy seeing love between women represented, especially if it's through the medium of my favorite artist.

Agreed. I don't see why people are objecting to this concept--if that is indeed the concept--as "overdone" or "so Christina Aguilera." What the heck, guys? Acceptance is not a fashion trend. It's something you entreat and cry out for until people can begin to move towards a place of acceptance. If the concept of this PV is indeed "all love is beautiful, regardless of sex/gender/etc," then I think it needs to be acknowledged that we are not so lucky as to live in a world where everyone believes this to be truth.
Calling this "so overdone" is rather insulting.

I'm sorry for the tirade, but I wish people wouldn't knock such things with such a flippant style-oriented attitude.
