Pluses
-I started cry at the end so badly that I am ashamed of it ~_~ It doesn't matter if the song (I still think so) it's a little cheap sounding... But the PV made cry so... it's amazing
- Beautiful people... I don't care about Ayu in this PV, people in this PV are just amazing.
- The dress made her even more skinnier than she is, the dress is beautiful.
- IT'S NOT BORING!

Minuses
- The wig is sooo obvious.
- Too bad it's b/w. I would love to see these people in color.

I also started crying at the end. This PV is full of emotions and really touching, love it! :heart

Ayu kinda looked like a drag queen... I was more insterested on the people on this video, they were all very interesting...

Ayu was the weakest aspect of the video, surprisingly. She was acting weirdly, her wig looked like she stole it from Nicki Minaj. But I still loved it so much I even wrote a blog entry especially about it lol

It is a very beautiful video, but thats it.

People cry because of it's beauty. At least I did. The visuals and the song together just created that emotional response from me.

It was just..wonderful and heartfelt..

The message is simple, but something we usually don't see done too often! Somehow, it can be overlooked. I love how the video wasn't only about LGBT acceptance, but about acceptance of all people. That everyone has something that makes them beautiful :)

The climax of the song made me feel warm inside :heart One of her best PV's in a very long time.

Because we don't appreciate of what we have, in front of people that have much worst problems. It may be symbolic (cause it's a music video) but the proteg leg or having a dwarfism is not acting (and I'm pretty sure there was a blind man out there), that's why it's moving me to cry. And all I can say, indeed, they are beautiful no matter what.

the message is great but i agree ayu is the worst part of the music video. she actually kind of ruins it for me. i wish she would have been more natural in the video as it would have fit a lot more than her dressing up like a plastic barbie and doing those diva hand movements. overall it was just really predictable which made it boring for me.

I didn't have the urge to cry but I can understand that some people might do.

I like the concept and I love how big the dress became. But her wig looked soooo cheap :laugh And her hands looked eerily thin, old almost.

All in all I think it's a nice PV, but Ayu's (imo) plastic look clashed with the raw beauty of the other people.

It's one of my favorite music videos ever, no lie. The featured people are very different, very real (if you know what I mean) and.. it's really awesome. I love it from start to end.
It kind of reminded me of Born to be... PV but I think it's better this one's in black and white. Supports the arrangement in my opinion.
It's really really special. The only minus for me are ayu's nails, I don't like them so much. And yeah, wig was obvious. But who cares, the rest of it and the message and ayu as the singer are so beautiful!
EDIT: Oh and another plus are the background vocals. It might not be that outstanding to you guys but I think they are... well yeah, outstanding. It's Timmy chanting, isn't it?

The first minute I found boring - after that I really started to get into it and enjoyed it. All the different people in it were fascinating - and the ending is touching. Didn't cry though. My father is in the room and he would mock me for months if I cried over a music video or anything, for that matter. :P Overall? I really love it despite my initial impression. I actually think the PV itself is better than the song. :innocent

I loved the woman with the metalic leg looking at her boyfriend. This is the best part for me, that is what really touched me.

The PV is beautiful but i couldn't stop thinking of this PV when i was watching.

Beautiful PV. I was more concentrated on other people here but I actually think it was this way on purpose. Ayu looked beautiful too, and I love the fact that she used long nails for a change. She's been using shorter ones for a while now. But I loved the PV and cried at the end much like everyone else.

PV also reminds me of the concept of Born To Be... PV. How beautiful you are would be like a more calmer version of that to me. :)

And I wanted to say something else too but forgot completely because I watched the PV again and cried even more. XD

Wow... I can honestly say this is her most powerful music video in a looooooonnnnnngg time!

I loved the concept, the simplicity and the emotion it was able to show. I know some people thought Ayu ruined the video but I don't think she did. Although I do think she should have dumbed down the make up and go for a more natural look... I think it would have fit in with the PV more.

Still. I absolutely loved it. :)

I really liked it. The only thing I didn't like were her nails, yikes! But the concept and music really came together perfectly. Regardless of how you feel about the song the PV just made everything seem a lot better so it did its job :yes

I love this PV. Ayu looks stunning in that dress, and I love her (LONG) hair even though some people claim to see the obvious wig.

The most touching part for me was when the woman and her boyfriend were looking at each other, and later it's revealed that the woman has a mechanical leg. (sorry I don't know the correct description in English). Yeah that was pretty touching.

Gorgeous PV, she's beautiful except for the wig that looks too fake. And I think it's made on purpose to focus more on people than on Ayu though. Love how the people are so different and interesting from each other, that fits with the song title so much imo.

Overall I love hbya PV. Her best ballad PV so far imo.

Is it me, or is it the first time (or at least one of a few times) that there are Asian people in an Ayu PV ? Because usually, she uses Western people as actors...

I have watched it a few times and like it more and more... it is so simple... but interesting. Much better than a lot of her other "simple" PV's...

Hmm, off the top of my head, she had Shawn Yue in glitter/fated. There were also kids from a Japanese acting school[?] in Born To Be...'s PV. I think most of the drones from Real me were also Japanese.

I have a few questions regarding the people in the video. First, what was it supposed to mean when the family turns around and you see that (what was assumed to be their child) looks like an adult with dwarfism (I don't mean to offend anyone, I just don't know the correct terminology)? Also, what did the girl with very high heels and the guy whose face was covered signify?

Anyways, I love the PV, it almost brought me to tears. It was so beautifully done and remarkably touching and meaningful. :heart

^ I think there's no "deeper" (it's deep itself) meaning. The little man may be a part of their family and they love him no matter what, and the pair in latex it was a "sado-masochistic" term of love.

I actually did tear up. I thought it was beautiful.

That wasn't symbols or metaphors... just different kinds of love for different kinds of people...

The PV is beautiful...

I think the wind is a symbol of struggle on moving forward...
unique people with unique taste, unique preference is having more challenge and difficulties on moving forward.
Towards the end, we see that Ayu is facing the wind too, maybe she want to say that she as an artist has her own difficulties as well...
but in the end...no matter how strong the wind is...we need to keep moving forward...

Ayu's face is gorgeous.

Her dress is awful...and the hair...I like it...in concept, but it didn't pan out the best.

I like the interesting group of people she brought in.

I don't care for the direction of the video. I don't care for them all fighting against the wind. I don't think it's needed.

I felt the people just standing there, and then embracing, got the message across well enough. It's quite obvious how many of these people probably struggle for normalcy in their lives. And them embracing and being empowered with the love they have for the person with them...it was more than enough for me. The end was just full of cheese. Like Ayu and the song too.

Even so. Beautiful message. Pleasant song.

I do believe though, when they had that ending with all the people fighting through the wind...it should have been in color. Color any place else would have ruined the effect...but at the end...it would have been perfect, though I guess a little superfluous. But they have such a huge pile of pretentious symbolism already :laugh What's another one visual.

i teared up a little bit, especially when everyone revealed themselves. :D i couldn't help but smile though! the song, PV, and it's symbolism are super beautiful. i love it.

Very interesting PV and I liked how she expanded "how beautiful you are" to not just relationships, but people's appearances as well. One of her better PVs in a long time.

I agree that Ayu felt out of place. I loved her dress, but... I wish she would have appeared in this PV without makeup, dressed in simple clothing.

They probably wanted to emphasize the wind with a longer hairstyle and the flowy dress. If she wore a T-shirt and jeans with her normal short cut, we wouldn't have gotten the same effect.

Her nails were a bit over the top though. Glittery claws, Ayu?

^seriously. :laugh i kind of wish she looked less glamorous. the hair and dress were fine, but the nails were crazy.

RAINBOW makes my heart ache - Endless Sorrow and HEAVEN bought tears to my eyes. I think people "crying" is a bit over-dramatic, because it makes you think of someone sobbing and blowing their nose through a whole tissue box :innocent

I think it's a really touching message, the first two couples made me think back to RAINBOW - they look so similar that it bought me back to the "who I am and who I want to be" message I got from that video.

The other couples show that love comes in many forms, and about being loved isn't limited to sex, age, ability etc...that others can see the beauty in us when even we cannot :)

Ayu's probably the weak point in this PV - her nails look a bit too cruel for this PV - they wouldn't looked rockin' if she used feathers again and I wonder what it would look like if she was transparent, acting like a supportive spirit as the other people move forward?

I kind of wish that the old guy from kanariya and Endless Sorrow came back to her PVs, I miss him and he's got the look for this type of PV...maybe bring the kid from Endless Sorrow back too. Their performances have stuck with me for years, so I'd like to know what happened to them!

It would certainly be amazing if they could find those people again for continuity's sake! She could do an Endless sorrow part II with the singing man and the child living in a world where they can speak or something like that.

I think she was supposed to be a supporting character of this PV, cheering the couples/individuals on as they walked against the wind that represented any barriers they've had to overcome before walking on herself.

^ I just want to know who they are! Even though their parts in the PVs were small compared to Ayu's discography, they're like iconic characters for me, I hope they managed to continue acting! ^^

Also, the people going towards the wind thing at the end looked odd. I'm sure it was supposed to be deep or something, but it just looked funny. Also, it didn't make me emotional at all. And since I don't dislike any of her PVs, this one is probably my least favorite from her, ever.

I liked almost everything about it. I liked it was black and white, I liked her appearance (the wig, the costume), I liked all those people in it and I liked the message.

I didn't think this video was emotional enough to cry, but I really liked it. Showcasing all the different people and how everyone is capable of love was great.

Loved her dress! Didn't like the boots or her nails. Her nails have been so pointy lately... why can't she have regular shaped nails? I know she like hearts, but gah!

Also, I'm glad that this video didn't end up being like Christina's Beautiful, even though the preview made it seem so. Christina's video is about loving yourself, and Ayu's is about showing that love is love.

I have not yet watch it, still waiting patiently for the release album. But from what I read, isnt the concept was like kinda 'not special'? Every western (or other country) musician had done it before, there's MJ till Dolly Parton had done it and maybe more that we or at least I ever know, so what its make really special? The emotion? Kinda same thing with those artist PV I mentioned I guess.

I thought the PV was simple but very well-done. The song itself is serviceble but unremarkable. Thankfully the PV makes up for the averageness of the song.

You are right, imo. Its a sweet concept, but nothing that hasn't really been done before. Ayu's is just her take on it I guess? And that's what probably makes it special to members here.

Not to sound mind-in-the-gutter, but I LOVE that fact that Koh Masaki was featured in this video. I've always thought he is absolutely gorgeous despite being a porn star.

The MV is completely simple (I don't mind at all!), but I really enjoy the message. I really feel with this MV that Ayu has really thrown her opinion more so than before about gay and maybe possible issue of rights. (Though her opinion is completely flamboyant having Timmy everywhere :rolleyes) Though I'm not going to make it seem all gay pride like, but I just really admire that about Ayu. It is brave to throw it out there so blatantly with Koh and the other guy kissing, etc.

The video is really about acceptance... LOVE & HOPE. The MV really does well showing glimpses about these characters or people and their daily struggles for acceptance based on appearance or lifestyles (the S&M was probably the most random of the bunch), disabilities, etc. I think having each person and showing these glimpses really tells their story perfectly. It shows hope and really does get the point across in the most simplistic of ways how beautiful they and everyone is. :luv2

my thoughts exactly: drag queen definitely came to mind. first thing I thought was what the hell is she wearing?! you'd think with all the gay guys on set someone would have the nerve to tell her to stop. there was just way too much going on. the boots made her look stumpy (with the dress), the nails, the fit of the dress...
