She never denied that it was about the divorce, I believe.

People read "The song isn't really a sequel to Virgin Road" or something as "The song isn't related to her divorce."

In fact, I think a lot of the songs on the album are directly related to her marriage and what she and Mannie had together.

So sad. :(

Yeah, to add on to truehappiness, she didn't say there was a link, but she didn't deny it as well. What she said in S Cawa about Return Road was "everyone is free to feel whatever they want from my songs", so yeah, very open-ended...

Even if Ayu doesn't confirm it, the song does seem to be about her marriage. The lyrics are amazing, even more so if they are indeed about what I suspect.

This song kinda reminds me of appears in lyrics wise. That song has a little bit similar lyrics. I can also see that this song is definitely about Mannie. What really makes me think this way are those mentions of "jokes" and "know-it-all faces of his or hers". It just reminds me of all that drama this relationship created back then and after the divorce.

I think that I started to love this song even more now after this translation. I want more. <3

Painfully raw and sad lyrics, along with the video and the black version of her VR wedding dress, just makes this all the more sad. :( I could get the feeling that she had to return back to Japan due to what happened, and they lost each other along the way.
