I was using the term in a broad manner ... just meant female solo acts who can hold their own on the charts (or at least could at one point).

If I could select more than one it would be Koda, Ayu and Namie, the rest I just don't care that much about it.

But, I love me some Miliyah Kato, too. She makes amazing music. Crystal Kay is pretty good too, and she also lived on the American Base in Yokohama.

I have the most musical respect for hikki.

lol ikr, Lecca is nowhere near being a diva I think... she's more like an underdog or something.

Tbqh the only people deserving the diva label are namie and kuu, they act like one all the time. Perhaps Meisa too I dunno.

Hikki, though I consider her being nothing of a diva... xD

I might listen to Namie Amuro more than Hikki but Hikki's lyrics just have so much more depth to them. And I never got over the lazy-way Amuro-chan performs her dancing and her never-ending-always-the-same style (when it comes to her hair and stuff like that). She seems to play it safe and what the audience wants. Hikki is just... Hikki. She gives herself in her music as much as humanly possible. My opinion, of course.
