The new album will be also be available through the new "PLAYBUTTON" media player on June 27th!!
We just recently made the announcement regarding the release of the CD and CD+DVD versions of the new album on June 27th, but now, with the addition of "PLAYBUTTON", the new album will be available in 3 different versions!!
"PLAYBUTTON" is a stylish new media player in the shape of a bottle cap badge which allows you to listen to the music just by hooking up your headphones.
You can recharge "PLAYBUTTON" by using the dedicated USB cable and the battery lasts up to about 5 hours once fully charged!
The unique media player with its bottle cap badge design, fits right in as an accessory item.
The "PLAYBUTTON" version of the album will have the same songs as the CD version, but will be specially priced at 1,980 yen (excluding tax) to commemorate Namie's 20th Anniversary!!
We hope that everyone will enjoy Namie's new album and also the "PLAYBUTTON" themselves as part of your daily fashion!
ABOUT NAMIE

Amuro Namie (安室奈美恵) is a Japanese "Hip-Pop" (Hip-Hop / Pop) artist from Okinawa. She debuted in a eurobeat group called the SUPER MONKEYS comprised of her and her classmates from the Okinawa Actors' School in 1992 with the single Koi no Cute Beat / Mister U.S.A.. Amuro became the leader of the group, and found success after their cover of TRY ME ~Watashi wo Shinjite~, which peaked at #8. In 1996, Amuro switched to avex trax and debuted with the single Body Feels EXIT, with her first avex album selling over 3.3 million copies. Her biggest single, the ballad CAN YOU CELEBRATE?, was the top single of 1997. After marriage and personal tragedy, Amuro continued to adopt a more R&B/hip-hop based style of music. She has sold over 27,322,155 copies in Japan alone.

#4 is nice, but it just looks like a copy of the one they gave as a sample..
#6 is nice too, but I'm not a huge fan of the font they used.
Let's Go sounds really good, the beat is amazing. But it's my least favorite out of the one's we've heard so far. It doesn't sound as memorable as Spotlight & Only You.
Also the "take me higher" part reminds me too much of.. well Higher lol. I'll properly end up loving it when the album leaks though.

Let's go is AWESOME!
I still think that dog song was the worst songs I've heard in ages. None of the ballads did it for me at all. Tempest wasn't that bad, though. At least Higher was good. Why its not on the album I do not know.
Now that I've heard every song, I have to say that In the Spotlight, Break It, Naked, YEAH-OH, Fight Together and Let's go are the BEST songs on the album
So out of 12 songs already heard, that's 6. If Hot Girls is any good, that's more than half of the album... hmm, that's the largest number of tracks I've ever liked from a Namie album.
I'm actually kind of excited...

For me SitDown is so so so so much better than any of her singles in 2006/2007(which were FUNKY TOWN & CAN'T SLEEP), and also the boring Sexy Girl in 2008~ SitDown has an interesting melody, not like her usual songs, which makes me love it!
Higher is boring for me, too. haha x)
And Let's Go sounds AWESOMMMMMMMME <3

And of course if she sing it I'd still love to listen to. But I don't have any pity feeling for it not to be included on the new album :P

Still strongly considering buying this together with Crystal Kay's new album...surprisingly Yesasia is the cheapest between them, amazon.co.jp, and CDJ, but only bc YA will give me free shipping. Does their free shipping take forever?

20th June 2012 01:47 AM
^I think it depends on where you live.
Personally, I live in California, and it only takes a few days. I've gotten stuff in as little as two days.
But I know other people have had a much worse time with their shipping times.

20th June 2012 01:56 AM
^^Probably not much difference for me then...since we're in the same country I'm guessing. Hm...gotta decide between amazon and yesasia.
Do you get a poster if you order from amazon? I can't tell...but I don't think so. Can someone just confirm for me?
^^ohh her hair is really pretty in that first pic. can't wait!

For me, YesAsia's free shipping took almost three weeks when I pre-ordered Party Queen and I live in Arizona. That's why I went with CDJapan this time around. :tired

yeah, I was gonna say...YA has a warehouse in LA which is only a few hours from me lol so...
thing is, I think sometimes with new releases, they dont always ship them to the warehouse here beforehand.
I usually don't use them for new releases, since, that always seems a bit up in the air to me.

I really REALLY hope that the Jpn lyrics are wrong, i mean, how come such a hot song like this doesn't have any English words/phrases in its lyrics?
I love the line "Hot Girls make the world go round" Hope she'll keep it T_T

I actually can't imagine a Namie song without some English, too!
Somehow I'm sure she keeps the english chorus, just fits to how she and her team are doing her songs.
Those japanese lines are about the same anyway.

I think the engrish she's doing on these new songs is really bad. Granted, it's a tad better than before, but the accent is still way too heavy and it's way too hard to figure out what she's singing. smh #fail :/
