Forgive me if I missed any of your favourite divas.

Select your favourite (non-Asian) divas. The ones you love and care about most, not the ones you only listen to every once in a while and could care less about if they stopped making music.

I chose these artists based on album sales, number of album releases, chart success, relevance, longevity, and overall impression - some more than others, depending on the artist. I would have liked to include non-English speaking divas as well but not this time.

-Lady Gaga don't adore her music but she's inspirational
-Gwen Stefani my favourite ever
-Adele non-conventional, great voice
-Rihanna always surprising me
-Katy Perry she's so lovely, I love many of her singles but most of all she looks like a genuine girl

I am quite not a fan of western pop music, I enjoy Christina Aguilera's music once in a while but I don't consider myself a true fan of any of them.

I didn't see her on the list.

Susan Boyle is amazing, her voice is stunning. But she doesn't quite fit in this list, she's not a pop star, her music genre is different from those in this list.
