Made me smile for some reason -- I think because the idea that saying "goodnight" could be so painful since they wouldn't wake up together/would have to spend time apart. It also reminds me of a line from Romeo and Juliet:

I agree, actually. I always like Ayu lyrics but from NEXT LEVEL onward it's basically just the same stuff with a few really awesome exceptions. You could easily take at least three songs from totally different albums that say this exact stuff.

Ooh wait, we could be missing the forest for the trees here. The title is "Sweet scar," so what if this is basically just memories and not a description of a current love? The irony of this simplistic love song with copy-pasted lyrics is that it's a broken record -- this isn't being sappy, it's basically repeating a memory without any of the emotional depth.

I'm going to pretend that that's what it is lol.

I love the song, but I cant refer to lyrics (and they are the same as halth of her love songs) so I don't dig it. But well, I love composition itself. I'm glad I don't know japanese, so I can't imagine my own lyrics EHEHEHEHE

I know they are repetitive lyrics but the way she sings it still feels genuine and heartfelt to me which I like

I feel like Ayu's individual phrases are recycled, but the song's actual plot is new. I actually can relate to this song quite a bit.

According to someone I know that is fluent in Japanese, the way she worded things in this song in Japanese is very 'unique' and 'new' for her, and that doesn't come across at all in the translation, or it's very difficult to show it because of how English is without making it sound weird.

maybe that's why the mini album is called "again"? LOL :D
