JYPE already denied Sunmi's return but I still find it weird that she went online to post that message considering she hadn't visited the fancafe since she left almost 3 years ago.

It seems some fans are still upset and saying Sunye is "selfish" because she's getting married, which I find funny because she's probably the most selfless idol I've come across. They must've forgotten when she used her own body to shield Sunmi when they were in that car accident and she came out with the most injuries because of it. You can see what kind of person she is even through little things like this.

I don't think anyone is completely sure what's going to happen from here on out (including them) but I don't have any reason to be anything other than optimistic. They've already endured a lot and they'll continue to do so.

While I'm extremely happy for SunYe and her marriage. I'm extremely disappointed in their American venture. They were supposed to release an album in 2010 to ride off the "nobody" wave and their Jonas brothers tour. However, SunMi left the group and then they had to start all over with Lim. Two years later, again, right before the release of their American ventures, Sun is going to get married.

There's nothing wrong with SunYe getting married, it's the fact that all these songs and all this hard work...I'm sure it's not making them happy. They gave up their popularity in Korea to make it in the US, but they still haven't. They don't even have an album.

They even debuted in Japan! And with the hiatus they will be going on, I'm sure this is a sign of the Wonder Girls most likely going away from the spotlight for a while.

As a fan ever since they started venturing into America, I had hopes that they would be extremely famous in America if they continued working hard. Very down to earth girls, very humble, and very strong. But with the news that SunYe is going to take a hiatus from the group, it's a bit disappointing...

Here's to the best! If rumors of SunMi coming back to the group stands true, I'm going to be happy about it too! Personally I thought SunMi was a good vocalist and could reach high notes with training.

I really hope them the best. I hope they still release their American album...JYP took a HIT on their JYP America in New York to debut these girls, so he invested a lot into these girls and they still don't have much to show in America... =\. Their iHeartRadio was amazing! and their Jingle Ball concerts would have been amazing had there not been conflicts with scheduling...

I'd say they are considering they consistently have some of the highest selling songs of the year even after going 1+ year without releases in between lol... Be My Baby is the #5 selling song in the past 3 years combined. Even 2DT which a lot of people like to pretend was a massive flop landed in the top 5 on the yearly charts that year.

interesting! I don't like the autotune much for the second verse, they don't need it. Also, Yeeun sang an impromptu of "jar of hearts" it seems. Sounds alright. She enunciates so well! =) So proud of her.

Sun will officially leave the Wonder Girls after her wedding on January 26th.

it's not surprised for me that she will eventually leave the group after the marriage, and with Sunmi together with the other girls sometimes ago, though they denied Sunmi rejoined to the group, but now i think she'll be most likely to rejoin again.

I hope she'll still sing..i'll miss her but im happy for her too

If it were any other member of any of my other favorite groups I'd be upset at a situation like this but I can't help but be happy for her (-: I'll miss her a lot but I remember when Sunmi went back to school and Sunye said "Wonder Girls' Sunmi is important but Sunmi as a person is also important" and that's how I feel about this (-:

It's called REBOOT and will have an 80s retro sound style (articles talk about "Retro Pop", "Retro Dance", "Slow Jam", Freestyle").
All songs from the album have been written and/or composed by Wonder Girls except for the title song (produced by Park Jin-Young).
Sun and Sohee are no longer Wonder Girls members, they officially left.

Holy crap I just listened to the album sampler. This is how you do an 80s record <3 I cannot wait for August 3rd. There is not a single song that I do not like which is SO rare for me when it comes to Kpop acts.

I love how fast these things are in KPop lol I am so anxious for this album it hurts

Wonder Girls Achieve Chart All-Kill Less Than 2 Hours After “Reboot” Release

Wonder Girls has hit the jackpot with its recent retro “Reboot,” topping all Korean online real-time music charts just 90 minutes following the release of the album.

As of 2 p.m. KST, two hours following the official release of the album, title track “I Feel You” is at the top of the charts for Melon, Genie, Naver Music, Mnet Music, Bugs Music, Soribada, Olleh Music, etc. Other songs from the “Reboot” album are also quickly rising on the charts, and a overall music chart takeover is predicted for the girl group.

I'll probably listen later today since the previews sounded really good. that being said it's still a mystery to me why they are so hyped in Korea and how they got famous with tell me. Sure it is catchy and I like it too but objectively speaking the vocals are tragic AF. Especially with korea being all focused on looks and vocals when it comes to idol groups and I don't think they had either back then + 0 variety skill (wonder how weekly idol will be). Now is a different story, their vocals have gotten so much better and they have an actual visual (Yoobin looks stunning and sunmi is also gorgeous + Lim has a hairstyle that actually fits her now and Yeeun is charismatic to me). If they debuted with that skill and that song now they would be going down lol. /rant

I really like the album.
It flows so well and the retro sound is done well in pretty much all of the songs.
Just the last three songs drag a bit as they're all ballads in the same style.
Without those last three songs the album would be perfect for me and I can listen to it through!
My faves are Baby Don't Play, One Black Night and OPPA.
The most interesting is Back though. Reminds me of the Hip Hop style in the '90s. Similar to The Fresh Prince from Bel Air. :laugh

the MV is great and the album is the album of the year for me, after Gain's Hawwah. overwhelmed, I love them so much. my another fav of the year is also Shinee's Married to the Music the MV is great also :)

Honestly I Feel you isn't a strong song for a comeback, they have better songs in the album, IMO.

OMG I listened to the album this morning and I LOVE IT I like every single track they did sucha good job with this. I hope they win lots of #1s I agree that I feel you isn't the strongest track but it's very catchy and has nice line distribution so I feel like it was a good title track choice

Must listen to theire Album a little bit more. Hoped for more...but maybe it will convince me after a while

Listen to the full Album and I fell in love! :luv2 sounds great and Loved is my favorite so far. Bring the 80s back :D

I downloaded the album today but I listened only to track 1. I Feel Ya is only ok for me but I hope the rest of the album is good. This retro attempt is probably the closest one to the original 80s style in 2015 (kpop).
I prefer Girl s Day when it comes to retro inspired song. Ring My Bell and their new EP are really nice.

I Feel You is def a contender for my song of the summer, such a jam!

After listening to the album the last days, it really is a good one!
I love the part from song 5 till 9, Loved till OPPA, just awesome!
And I also love Baby Don't Play and 사랑이 떠나려 할 때.
Overall I can listen to the whole thing through, which is great.
Definitely buying a physical copy!

Their vocals are so much better on the REBOOT showcase than on the TV performances. Overall Yubn and Yeeun are the stronger vocalists of the four.

yes they did. because their fanbase is as much as BIG BANG fanbase, you know. you can look at naver or nate for comments. the general public slammed them for wearing swimsuits. and the main critisism comes from the new release being promoted as a live band, but in reality they're not playing it live. they just hate them for 'lying' like that. they bash them really a lot.

They're not playing live in the I Feel You performances, which is pretty obvious. What's with the showcase? Looked like live playing for me there.

Some idols won't even sing live but I don't see them getting bashed for it :innocent

I digged into it and they actually can play the shit live (altough one can state that they are just practicing for about a year). The Showcase, as well as the Sketchbook live were really live with instruments (you can tell by the eyboard solos). As for TV-channels - they stated that they won't play live there since ...I dunoo...they said its difficult and I predict these shows are no made for instruments.

K-netz are so dramatic, lol. But they already show they can play well.

This is why I love jyp as a company he knows how to respect an artists decision and showcase artists talents.

I love Shinee and their song is fun, the video is cute and favoured by teens. Shinee have also been long in the business, and it's their repackaged album. you know that repackages tend to sell more and be more popular, this time they didn't do as good as with 'View'? but I think they still won like 2-3 times.
I really hoped for WG win! BIG BANG wins even without performing...

I like SHINee too, View was great, but Married to the song is bad, the concept is interesting, but we're not in October yet.

Anyway, talking about Wonder Girls, I love REWIND !!!!

yo, hold up. Y'all telling me these girls haven't won a single win yet for this amazing comeback? Are you kidding? This is a joke, right? This comeback is sooooo good! I mean, I'm not a huge 80's music fan but this is like 80's meets 2015 in a perfect blend! I know it's not what the mainstream is looking for but can't they appreciate the throwback qualities? Though not necessarily unique (since... you know... the 80's did it first.) but it's definitely fresh. Aw, this makes me sad. WG Fighting! :D

Such a pity, the band concept only last for 2 comebacks.

it is believed Lim is going to the university to be a translator, Yeeun might join some agency and sing/compose, Yubin will probably stay and take care of her family (her father is terribly sick or something like this) and Sunmi wants to be a indie artist.

this was one of the first girlgroups in the kpop, I am proud of them, I hope everything turns well for them.
Sohee and Sunye quit but they're good. The first is in ads and movies/dramas, the other has two children and a wealthy husband.
