NAMI TAMAKI is getting "REAL" in her 5th Thread
 

Just thought the previous thread was a little out-of-date... (it's title was 2 years old and irrelevant). This is Nami's 10th Anniversary as an artist and she's just announced her special 10th Anniversary single, titled 'REAL'. Here's the information for the single:

As you can see, both new songs on the single have been written by Nami herself. This is the first time she's written tracks for a single since... ever. More importantly, the main song "REAL" is being produced by Nishi-ken who also created her song "Brightdown". There's also going to be a re-recorded and re-arranged version of Believe, which I'm personally VERY excited for.

Ohhh this is kinda exciting :D

If anything, Believe is a great song, so a re-vamped version will be great. :)

I wish she'd like...release something like Sanctuary though.

That's exciting, can't wait for a new version of Believe!

I've only heard a preview of emotion, but it sounds so old-school JPOP it's awesome- I'm so excited to hear the whole thing!!

I love her new style as of late. Can't wait for a full album from teichiku records.

Gundam songs cover album sounds interesting.

Hope she releases a new studio album this year.

Can't wait to here her just Communication cover.

Sounds good, step in the right direction.

But, too similar to Brightdown which is fantastic and amazing. Listening to the new songs makes me happy she's going in the right direction but also just makes me want to turn the songs off and play Brightdown instead.

Request: Can someone upload or send me a link to download her first album "Greeting"? It's not on Jpopsuki and I'd like to listen to it - it's been years. At least 192 kbps please and 320 would be a dream come true. Thanks!

Vivid Telepathy reminds me a lot of her older songs. Can't wait to hear the full version, I'm gonna love that song.

Probably is why Vivid Telepathy sounds like she's going back to what she was well-known for.

Hm, for me it's sad, cause I liked her recent singles so much more.
Lady Mind, Paradise and Real were all great.

I don't think she's left Teichiku, her official site doesn’t say anything about a label transfer (the previous two are listed on her profile), and a one-time-only deal with Warner for an anime tie-up isn't unheard of (Mami Kawada did it for Shakugan no Shana).

Anyway, I like Vivid Telepathy well enough; it's giving off some very strong Reason vibes, and that song was LIFE for me back in the day, so I still have a weak spot for that stuff. However, this style isn't the most original thing, and I think she's been carving herself a nice niche with her previous three singles, so I hope this really is a one-off thing and she will keep doing stuff more like REAL and PARADISE in the future.

I'm really liking the song, maybe she can release more music like this under Warner. A mix between Songs Luke Vivid Telepathy and Paradise, Real etc. would be great
