[BREAKERZ] 18th thread ~ Hiatus + guitarist AKIHIDE's 2nd album Lapis Lazuli (30.10)
Welcome to the 18th thread of 1 of JRock most talented trios :D :heart Band Formed in April 2007 , BREAKERZ is a J-rock trio that is made up of 3 gorgeous & extremely talented guys : frontman vocalist DAIGO & guitarists AKIHIDE and SHINPEI . BREAKERZ started off as DAIGO and SHINPEI's project . Meeting through a mutual friend and various recording sessions , they worked together to make a demo . DAIGO is in charge of music and lyrics while SHINPEI is in charge of arrangements . In the span of 1 month , they created 40 songs . Later on , they are joined by DAIGO's longtime friend who has worked many times with him in his band , songwriting , playing guitar and singing chorus . That is AKIHIDE & the 3 of them joined together to form BREAKERZ . The origins of BREAKERZ's name means "wanting to destroy" or "destroying once & for all" & connects breaking through genres & barriers . The original band's name was first spelled with an S but it was later changed to Z adopting the letter from B'z , which SHINPEI's a massive big fan of the duo . Incidentally , the band's name was derived even before SHINPEI joined . BREAKERZ's goal was to be like the musicians that they admire/respect such as hyde & Himuro Kyosuke . All arrangements are credited under BREAKERZ as so but it is the composer of the song who leads the arrangement , while the rest of the members fine tune the song while utilising their own ideas . Their music can't be described in just one word . It's a fusion mix of AKIHIDE's UK rock guitar sounds & SHINPEI's American rock guitar sounds which're both combined with DAIGO's somewhat sexy lush seductive voice xD . The band's historic debut is on 6 June 2007 with their first single WAKE UP MY SOUL / THE TRAIN's GONE ... became available on iTunes Japan . BREAKERZ is signed by ZAIN Records , a member of the Being Giza Group . The trio made their major debut with their self-titled debut album on July 25th 2007 . Their first live performance took place at SHIBUYA BOXX on August 5th 2007 . During live performances , the guys often wear prayer bead bracelets which were made by DAIGO's late maternal grandma . BREAKERZ doesn't have a permanent bassist nor a drummer in their duty roaster , so they use various support members when comes to recording of their material & also in live performances too . Eiki Eiki drew/published a comic book called Eiki Eiki no Buchaketai !! that was released on 3rd June 2009 & the manga centres on DAIGO & their late grandpa 3) DAIGO's famously well known for his WISH rock pose . On why he use the word WISH , it's because it derives from the word Wissu which's like a greeting that school students used , kind of like the Japanese version of the word 'hi' 4) In real life , DAIGO's a complete DoM (Mascochist) but onstage during live performances & in the band's PVs , he adopts a DoS (Sadist) personality 5) DAIGO is responsible for close to writing/composing (most of the time both but depends) 90% of BREAKERZ's material 6) 3 things he cannot live without - phone , iphone & gloves 7) Prior to the release of DAIGO FIRST PHOTOBOOK DAIGOING L.A , it was DAIGO's 1st visit to US where he went to L.A for 5 days to shoot/complete the photobook 8) DAIGO has tremendous respect to Himuro Kyosuke (whom composed DAIGO's debut solo single MARIA when he was DAIGO☆STARDUST) , Acid Black Cherry's yasu , L'Arc~en~Ciel~'s hyde & holds them in high regard/esteem In fact BREAKERZ super respect ABC's yasu , so much so that DAIGO calls yasu Aniki / elder brother in his blog He's also good friends with Anna Tsuchiya , SID's lead singer/frontman Mao , GACKT & abingdon boys school's lead singer/frontman Takanori Nishikawa aka T.M.Revolution 9) Aside from WISH , in 2010 , DAIGO coined a lingo called Kuraimu (pronounced as Climb) . So his parents named him like so) 5) He's in B'z fanclub even though a lot of times during MC sessions , DAIGO said SHINPEI's not lol 6) SHINPEI always is if not the butt of jokes during their offshot clips , no thanks to DAIGO's antics & also sometimes AKIHIDE too :O 7) He's the proud uncle of a beautiful niece whose nickname is BOSS-chan & in 2010 , a nephew whose nickname is Agubi-kun . The funny thing's my friend 1st know about NEVER LAND way back before BREAKERZ but for me it was the complete opposite xD
But yeah I wouldn't lie , AKIHIDE's singing voice is way better if not nicer than DAIGO (sorry dear but HEY I still adore you xD) The full song of Hoshi no Kyousoukyoku was released yesterday via Japan's iTunes & my friend (whom I jokingly dubbed her as my secretary xD) gave the song to me yesterday before I went to bed :D omg omg omg omg I really like it >____< It does remind me a lot of what AKIHIDE used to do when he was in NEVER LAND & now I understand why Hoshi no Kyousoukyoku is the only track in Amber that gets a PV :D My fave part of the song is the melody , especially the ending . Very very sad news today greeted me when I came back home just now from work . SHINPEI tweeted this earlier on to say that his beloved pet dog Chappy has died :(

Long story short , Chappy sadly if not unfortunately passed away from an accident that took place early this month which really shocked me when I tried my best to read SHINPEI's blog entry just now . Even before I did so , I already sensed something was not right as SHINPEI did not include any photo in his blog entry today & true enough ... :( I don't own any pets but I can't imagine how much grief if not pain SHINPEI has been going through the past few weeks since this happened & I think this took place before his 32nd birthday ? Although it's upsetting to know that SHINPEI's late dog Chappy passed away unexpectedly beginning of this month , at least from what SHINPEI has wrote , he's comforted from the outpour of messages/support that fans have left on both his blog & Twitter .

Came in here cause I heard about Chappy :( Sad man SHINPEI really loved Chappy and Chappy was adorable. Everyone loved Chappy.... losing a pet it's sad...poor SHINPEI wish I could give him a hug but at least SHINPEI has memories.

The feeling is just awful if not terrible. The worst thing is that Chappy actually passed away unexpectedly early May & SHINPEI did not said anything about it til last night
and that's not easy cos on the surface everything seemed OK + for Chappy to pass away before SHINPEI's 32nd birthday man it's just not fair Chappy had become part of the family (be it band or SHINPEI related wise) for the past 3 years & I just hope SHINPEI will be alright ;__; Time will heal all wounds but it definitely will not be the same without Chappy :-( RIP Chappy you're in doggy heaven now sigh |

1 of the worst if not most depressing news I have to write/report about that's related to the guys. If Chappy passed away due to old age I can understand but for this due to an accident, it's very heatbreaking
I don't know if SHINPEI will get another pet in future but it wouldn't be the same. Chappy you will be missed greatly :-( |

Oh no y__y Chappy! y__y I just had time to read the last posts and that is really sad! My cat (Moritz) also passed away 2 weeks ago. He was just 4 years old but had a terminal illness and we decided to put him to sleep so he wouldn't have to suffer anymore. There really wasn't another way to help him. It was on a Sunday that he suddenly felt very bad. We tried to call the veterinarian but she wasn't available. It was so heartbreaking to hear him miaow, I never heard him miaow that way. He really endured pain. Monday morning he finally was put to sleep. We miss him a lot! y_y
I'm really really hoping Chappy hadn't do endure pain and died fast at least. That's Moritz, by the way. Wasn't he cute? Spoiler:

Also uploaded 2 days ago via the guys's official YouTube site , this time round , it's a live video of SHINPEI's MUSCLE ATTACK band's new song that's titled Runner's High .
And it's safe to say that the live footages were recorded from their 1st live performance MUSCLE ATTACK LIVE ~Basic Training vol.1~ that took place on 11th May / SHINPEI's 32nd birthday at Tokyo's Roppongi morph-tokyo : And unlike My BLOODY BUNNY which was mainly sung by bassist Jong , Runner's High is sung fully by SHINPEI onstage with the rest of the members backing him up vocally onstage . To be frank , I never really liked SHINPEI's singing voice unlike DAIGO and/or AKIHIDE but in Runner's High , SHINPEI actually sounded better than I thought :O & it's funny that in MUSCLE ATTACK , SHINPEI somewhat has a rather different aura/personality attached to him , which's so different when he's in BREAKERZ xD (with his trademark sunglasses still intact of course x) ) I don't know if that's a good or bad thing but at least it's great for SHINPEI to finally come outta the shadows & be a frontman for MUSCLE ATTACK cos to me it's not fair for DAIGO and/or AKIHIDE to keep on hogging the limelight :3 Still waiting for news in whether MUSCLE ATTACK will release original material in a CD in due time or not , crossing fingers on that ! |

DAIGO MOBILE & Musing both have already closed their balloting ticket applications with regards to Kaette Kita DAIGO☆STARDUST that will take place on 12th July at Tokyo's Shibuya Public Hall .

DAIGO MOBILE & Musing both have already closed their balloting ticket applications with regards to Kaette Kita DAIGO☆STARDUST that will take place on 12th July at Tokyo's Shibuya Public Hall .

LOVE STAGE!! Manga has Anime in the works
http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v2..._jpg-large.jpg The July issue of Kadokawa Shoten's Asuka Ciel magazine announced on Thursday (May 28th) that an anime adaptation is in the works for Eiki Eiki and Taishi Zaou's LOVE STAGE!! manga. The story revolves around Izumi Sena, a boy born into a family of ultra-famous entertainers. However, he is the only member of the family who is not in the entertainment industry, and he is a super otaku college student, too. He has been striving hard to become a manga creator, but he ends up starring in a television commercial. He eventually cross paths again with the very famous actor Ryūma, who becomes aware of his attraction towards Izumi. Kadokawa published the third volume of the manga today (June 1st). Several of Eiki's works, such as The Art of Loving, Colour (a collaboration with Zaou), Dear Myself, Millennium Prime Minister, and Train☆Train, have been published in English.
