I'm still listening to FEEL non-stop, i don't have time for anyone else lol. I swear it doesn't lose any replay value or get tiring, i still adore the album just as much as when it came out. I'd be afraid if i was her. She's gonna have to bring it a ridiculous amount with the next album :P

Just received my copy of feel.My favorite video is contrail,it's sooo beautiful *O*
Just listened to the full album and overall is pretty nice and cohesive. At first I Was a little dissapointed (with videos),the album starts with Alive which is my less favorite song on the album so... My favorites songs on the album are the ones that doesn't have video (except for LMLYG and contrail). Well,I give it a 8,5~9 My favorite song at the moment Stardust in my eyes. Not my favorite namie album but it's cool. |

I'm so glad they used Lalala for the Esprit commercial, I absolutely ADORE that song!! And Namie in white, all smiles from everywhere, is utter and divine perfection, seriously, that woman is SO elegant and graceful, but everybody already said so anyway!XD

Since there is a lot of Full english songs on FEEL, i'm looking forward to a FULL-english album in the future, and maybe an international release ?
I think that she improved her pronunciation a lot, but there's still engrish sometimes (especially in LMLYG and Heaven). She should have a coach or something to help her. But the whole thing is quite encouraging, isn't it ? :) All in all, I felt a big occidental influence on this album (it's because a high number of songs are western-composers'). I even recognized some styles that would have fit western singers (Hands On Me could have been a J-Lo's song, Poison a Gwen Stefani's song, LaLaLa and LMLYG Rihanna's songs, and Rainbow even reminds me of Björk ! This album is a good mix of styles, and is very cohesive. Too bad there's no Damage and Beautiful, but I already said that numerous times ! :D The only song that I can't stand is CYFTL... so annoying that I skip it every time ! |

CYFTL can be too sugary sweet sometimes, but i love the 80's throwback! It's such a "jump out of bed and get ready" kind of song, it just makes me happy!
Cutesy songs rarely hit the spot for me, especially when it comes to Ayu and Kuu. Namie don't have that many thankfully, but she did a good job with CYFTL. |

Tbh, there are no songs I really hate from FEEL (and this speaks a lot about the good work done). There are tracks that are too generic for me, like Heaven, but they're enjoyable anyway. FEEL is an example of how an album, without being perfect or innovative, can be nice in all its aspects. |
The only song I don't really like on FEEL is CYFTL. The rest I adore, but that track just seems to get on my nerves.

I'm on the wall about it. CYFTL really reminds me of something that would be on a beni album....and I feel like if it had Beni's vocals, its the type of song I'd love.
Its just a little watered down on Namie's album with her vocals, but I think its a well written song. |
I think CYFTL is somewhat-bearable garbage. The only album flaw.

I've never understood why Namie fans insist on perpetuating this whole Ayu/Namie feud. Like I understand when it happens in the west (between, say, Madonna/Gaga) but like Ayu and Namie have never even acknowledged each other, much less ever "shaded" each other :laugh It just comes off as petty and insecure as far as fans are concerned.
Not that I'm saying Ayu fans are the epitome of maturity, but in my experience it's always the Namie stans (a vocal minority, of course) who are jumping to defend their queen - but from what exactly?? :laugh Seriously. There's no feud, no rivalry, no twitter wars, they're hardly even in the same genre these days. As a fan of both, it's just tiring to experience. :no It's like all the sassy drama queen teenagers of the western pop culture sphere are so thirsty for the same thing in asian music that they fight over make-belief shade. It's honestly pretty dumb? |
Probably because ayu fans haven't had anything to hold over Namie for the last 5 years.
Personally, I see it pretty equally from both camps. |

I confess I did laugh at the video in some parts, but I'm pretty sure 90% of those who will watch this won't take it so kindly.
Once upon a time, not many years ago, I used to be a big hater of ayu but I had really never gave her a chance. I hated her cause every other Kuu fan at that time would hate her as well, and then I should hate her to fit in. Not that I did think like this back then, but now I see that's how my "taste" worked... Now, after giving her - and other singers as well - a try, I regret being so childish and dumb... I think that's people just being too passional over things they shouldn't be. Fans tend to take their favorites banners and defend them till death, while it doesn't really matter at all - it's not arguing or offending someone that you'll make the other person think "Hey, he's right, I should give that singer a second chance". And it's not gonna increase or decrease singers popularity as well, it's a quick fire that last for some minutes and then wow it's gone. Also, that's the same about people who take sport teams and politicians to this side. It's a waste of time and it'll just tire you, taking nobody nowhere. Listen to your music and be happy. That's all. |
I laughed, not in a mean-spirited way, but because it was funny. Some people have different taste in humour just like with music and I happen to laugh at these kinds of joke. So don't shouldn't take things so personally especially the author of that blog is obviously not for reals. Immature or not, just move on if you don't enjoy.
In a reversed way, it can be said that people who take these "versus" joke so personally could be petty and insecure themselves... |
