The PREMIUM SHOWCASE font is ok but that font for ayumi hamasaki is butt-ugly.

I'm so excited to experience the tour in Nagoya :) I've only ever stayed in the Kanto area for her tours so this'll be a first for me. :)

Here's me hoping this will consist of mostly brand-new material. I feel like it's time to give the stable love ballads the boot and go a bit berzerk with this one. I haven't followed her much (if at all) these past few months, but I'd prefer something outrageous rather than the boring at this point. Doesn't really look like it at this point though. |

To me it seems the theme of the album (or lyrically) is her finding her new love and her life right now, which I'm so happy for her. I get the feeling it'll have a techno dance vibe...maybe NEXT LEVEL theme musically. As far as the tour, I can't wait for photos and the setlist. Shall be grand lol

I have a feeling that Ayu will not really use the meaning of "Showcase" as per length and number of songs that she'll perform IMO. i think she only used it for the title! LOL Maybe the highlights will be the new songs and some classic Ayu and staple songs here and there like the previous tours :)

i thought of looking/comparing it to my A Best Live tickets could help. I got an Arena seat last year too. 36列56番 to be exact and that was a pretty perfect seat far from the main stage but just a few meters away from the center stage.. EDIT: It says 1階入場口 |
If you thought that Ayu and Tomochin will be battling out for #1 - well, I'm sorry, but we've got a Johnny's group releasing an album on 7/2. So if you were thinking that Ayu's going to get #1 (or Tomochin of AKB48 fame), then you may have called it too early.

I don't have any hope this album will debut anything higher than #3.
But I honestly don't really care about positions, they're not really relevant. Kumi Koda debuted at #1 with Bon Voyage, but the sales are dreadful to say the least. I'm much more scared to know how many copies it'll manage to sell. |

WHAT A SURPRISE WHEN I GOT HOME
I feel about these tracks in some ways how I felt when NEXT LEVEL came out--initially I was completely jarred by the electronic sound. Those songs aren't favorites of mine (well, except that Sparkle is fantastic), but they grew on me. I don't even know what to think yet, but I do really want to hear the full versions of the songs! I like the sound of Terminal. :D |
Just listened to the previews!
NOW & 4EVA is the rock song, but it's not as much rockish as I was expecting tbh... Terminal sounds really promising, What is forever love and Lelio sound good as well, but I really don't like the preview of Angel, the arangements are annoying >_< I'm hoping the full version will be better, I tend to like the songs better after listening to them full... I'm actually expecting this album to end up being like NEXT LEVEL, like it seems it's going to be different and more upbeat than what she usually does, which was what I felt when NL came out... |

HAHAHAHA reminds me of LOL but this sounds really awesome <---- and it sounds like a really BAD pronunciation of RADIO =.= NOW & 4EVA: Definitely a Japanese track HAHA. Reminded me a bit of "identity" in the first few lines of the Terminal: THIS IS INTRIGUING!! This part gave me snowy kiss + criminal vibes somehow hahah XOXO: ok party track haha...really seems like the track with Lico. This somehow gives me RedOne vibes...idunno haha |

OMG I'M SO LOVING THIS OMG OMG OMG. I LOVE ALL OF THEM. this is so fresh and I've been dying to listen to ayu doing some proper edm stuff, LELIO and what is forever love are MAGIC. I really like how she created these songs while still maintaining "that" ayumi hamasaki sound. Not really loving ANGEL tho it sounds like the stomachache version of teens. That was already horrible on its own. Terminal sounds SO PROMISING. I'm very looking forward to the whole album AND its live rendition. Just imagine ayu showcasing it in the summer tour omg IT'S GOING TO BE EPIC. if she promotes in a decent way, and I mean DECENT, this could be her turning point like past/present was for namie. Japan (and the world in general) love this sound, the names are there, the quality (seems) to be there. This could be the first step for climbing back up or... am I hoping too much? |

The previews and songs are available for TA only. I thought it was only previews initially, but the full songs are out as well for ¥250 a piece.
I'm refraining from downloading any others, considering it's only for mumo's app. My initial reaction was it's quite repetitive (sorry to say haha). It's good, and very different for Ayu. There's a bit of talk-singing as well. |
