And more original PVs please not just Last Minute :< I just hope for one thing so far, I hope she'll fix the blarring guitar in Last Minute because it's just messy and you cannot even go that high of a volume when listening to it without making it sounded 'raw' or unfinished (while I love putting it loud to sing along lol) |
The title is so different with what she has done so far. But I wonder if the reason of the title is to represent Ayu and her fans' journey through this 17 years?

11 tracks of her signature old-time J-pop should sound better than Colours to me. I like some songs there, but all in all it's just weird to me for some reason. I was excited about "8 videos planned" because I thought there's going to be sIX NEW PVS FOR SIX SONGS OH DEAR LORD but then I remembered that this would also include the making-ofs. Bottom line: excited! EDIT: - Never mind, from the official site, it doesn't seem that the 'A' is going to be the 'A' symbol. Usually when they post the sentence you translated it means 11 tracks in total (from our experience with past albums). XD

This is great, thanks for posting the news :) Admittedly the first thing I thought of when reading the title is the A1 motorway, but it's actually not a bad album name and it's at least not including the word love, I'm so happy

i keep wondering when she will release A BEST 3...it's been 7 years since she release A BEST 2, from what i know that's quiet a long time for Japanese singer to not releasing Best album...and for me A BEST 3 will be a hope for her second peak..

I'll just take some wild guesses: 1. It's actually her first English album. (And features a duet with MIKA NAKASHIMA on "What A Wonderful World".) 2. All the new tracks turn out to be Enka. 3. The tracks don't have names, just "A ONE", "A TWO", "A THREE", "A FOUR"... Because she's written so many fucking songs at this point that she's ran out of known English words to title them. 4. We open the booklet to find the word (LAST) jammed between A and ONE, and a surprise message stating that Ayu has decided to retire. |

Okay Im officially obsessed with the ALONE idea. I can see the cover having a black background and the L is printed in black over it, so at first you don't notice it, but when light goes right into it, it'll reflect and be visible alongside the rest of the title. I've seen some t-shirts using this trick, guess it'd be still possible on paper.

Can anyone tell me if i can purchase the TA edition / specials from concert venue as TA member? Will be attending the concert in april and I dont wish to pay extra to ship overseas - no point waiting so long (2-3 weeks) to arrive my house when I will be in japan then...

I don't think I can express in words how tacky the title is. I'll never be able to separate this album from steak sauce in my head now, thanks Ayu. It'd be fine for a compilation, but for a studio album... it's just... so artless and clashes with the rest of her albums discography honestly. It sounds more like a tour or a marketing campaign or something lol.

Hmm... I'm excited for this album--I wonder what the meaning of "A ONE" will be. I like the A(L)ONE idea you guys came up with. I would love to see a concept in that vein from Ayu. I really hope it isn't something generic like, "A ONE DREAM" with no explanation.
I really liked Colours but I hope Ayu takes this album in a completely different direction. Honestly, I think I like Ayu's darker albums the best so I hope this isn't too peppy. |
