'SNSD new Japan single "Catch Me If You Can" has a 'strong dance beat, with a sexy refrain that will stick in your ears' Release date: 4/22'. SNSD Tokyo Dome DVD/Blu-ray is out the same day. Fanclub event on the 26th at Saitama Arena.

I like the title, and the description, now we'll see if I end up liking it.

I was watching part of their "The Best" tour and it was weird without Sica, especially when they sang their debut song T_T.

Listening to their Japanese music particularly...like half of the "all sings"/chorus parts of songs are pretty much just a mix of Jessica and Taeyeon.

RUMOUR: They are going to make a Korean comeback in May.

Although I'm happy that they are finally releasing this tour on DVD, I have to admit that I had completely forgotten all about it since the tour originally took place in 2013. I'm assuming that the delay in it's release may have been due to Jessica's departure from the group, but this still seems pretty late even by SM's standards, and to be honest, I'm personally not as enthusiastic about it since we've gotten the Japanese leg of this tour on DVD/Bluray two years ago. Also, although they've never released their tours with English subtitles, I'm a bit disappointed that they still have decided not to do so at this point. I don't expect to see them on their Japanese releases since Japan doesn't really have much interest in marketing themselves outside of Japan, however, I feel like with Korea's interest in marketing kpop globally, that if they can include subtitles in Korean, Japanese, and Chinese, they can make an effort to include English as well since it is a universal language (unless they feel like they shouldn't make an effort anyways since English speaking fans have purchased their tours without subtitles in the past). Despite these things, I'll be preordering it soon, however, I still think SM could do better.

WTF why are they releasing this 2 year old concert is it just to milk Jessica fans?

It's called Girl & Peace tour even if they only performed just 6 songs from that album lol

I think she has always struggled with keeping her weight up.
I know lots of fans think she eats a lot and even say she's the biggest eater of SNSD, but I highly doubt that. I'm not saying I think she starves herself, but I think she has unhealthy eating/exercising habits. She's probably one of those people with a fast metabolism and doesn't eat enough, and exercises a lot on top of that. She has hardly any muscle at all, which makes me think that she's definitely not eating enough.

Anyway, I think she's the prettiest out of SNSD, and would be one of the hottest women ever if she gained at least 20 lbs. I'm actually interested to see her age and put on weight as her metabolism slows.

It sounds very.. generic. Like a lot of their Japanese music does. Hopefully it's better in full but for now I'm more excited over the ballad.

Not all that fond of their clothes. I'm slightly tired of the themed outfits, they're kinda childish. It's a part of their thing, but the girls are 27-25, how long are they gonna be air hostess, cheerleaders, construction workers and nurses? The song is well...for me it's lackluster and the composition lacks proper climax, it reminds me of DBSK's Catch Me but theirs are better since they have climax.

The dance is great tho, and I always imagine where Sica would be if she's still here :< oh well~

the choreo is really nice, i have feeling that this time they use Japanese person to choreograph this, the movement of head bangs and lock lock is so Japanese. I don't know...it feels different. Very demanding movement though no stop at all.

This is music I have been waiting for from ANYBODY!

Best thing since "I GOT A BOY". Only difference is, this is their first Single they've released where I have loved it immediately and didn't need to wait or force it to grow on me.

My only gripe is the end of the bridge. When Tae-yeon was shouting My Heart a couple times real high. It sounded like she was about to do something really cool and melodic with it. But she just did a basic note and stopped. Kind of disappointing because I hear in my head what it should have been and expected it, but it's not what I got. I knew this going in though because it's the same part that played on the sample we got a while back.

This song is going to be released in Japan as their next official single. The single is released today in Korea as a digital single. They aren't going to promote the song in Korea. Maybe in their next Korean comeback they are going to perform it along with the new song. :D

Jessica was kicked out in October. She was def. a part of the song and video. The video now features Hyo with green hair - which is very recent.

I've read from some producer who works with SM that they're REALLY nitpicky and perfectionistic about their tracks, and they usually end up spending months and months perfecting them lol. So, there's that.

^ I don't remember exactly what started all of this Kpop/Jpop drama but well, for historical and political reasons (and that battle over some island or something). Plus I remember Music Station being criticized because they had a majority of Kpop artists (and Johnny's) all the time at the time. That's when they started leaving Kpop artists aside and decided not to invite them anymore.

As for the song, I'm not quite sure I like it. I think I do prefer the Japanese version overall, but it just makes me even more pissed they kicked off Jessica, this song would have been perfect with her vocals.. Kudos to them for the efforts on the choreo.

Becuase even if they are singing japanese songs most of the money goes outside Japan. Moreover kpop groups will soon or later leave Japan with all their profits, therefore they only help the japanese music industry in the short term.

Got the single the other day from iTunes. I actually really like both songs though I have listened to Catch Me If You Can more. Love how Yuri and Hyoyeon get the song going!

I have to say catch me if you can really grew on me I hated it at first but then listen after listen I liked it more it's really like sunny said you like it more the more you hear it

Music Dragon (a Japanese tv show) allows K-Pop groups to perform. I watched AOA performing the japanese version of Like a Cat and Tohoshinki with an original japanese song this year. :)

And I think there are some morning shows with K-Pop groups sometimes.

I hate myself for saying this; but this is happens way too often to me with SNSD. I HATED IGAB. Hated!! Now I LOVE it. Same goes for Mr. Mr.
