hmmm i'm really glad she's keeping that hair colour. I saw a couple of articles that black hair is coming back as a trend in Japan. Maybe Ayu will jump on the train too...:D

I bet you already know, but she listed lots of them on her life style book. I used some products of the skincare brand she uses (neonatural) and I really like it :yes

^I knew it was one of those books, but wasn't sure exactly which one, so thanks! I currently use Estee Lauder products (face wash, eye cream, day moisturizer, revitalizing supreme night cream) and I love them.

BUT whatever ayu uses seems to work spectacularly!

I know she's into Paula's Choice--probably because Timmy loves it too. She uses items from the Resist anti-aging line. Which is extremely affordable haha.

My best friend uses Paula's Chouce, too. Apparently a very good line. I remember Timmy saying he loved it in a volg or something that was posted here, but when did Ayu say she liked it?

Oh, I didn't know that Ayu used Paula's Choice! I'm really excited to try some of their products, I like how Paula Begoun really cares about all the ingredients on her products. :)

I also don't know if she's relevant enough to make a clothing line. I mean, even when Kuu wasn't a has-been she only did a small limited line of yukata. I don't think the youngsters in Japan care for Ayu's fashion these days.

tbf, no one was checking for Mary Kate & Ashley either and their lines have been very successful.

Ayu tends to wear quite a bit from The Row, tbh.

They entered the world of "high fashion". Or at least not sold in any stores near my house, lol. I was talking if Ayu released a line in 109, for example. Perhaps she would have success if it was a small line for the more "elite" as opposed to a line for the average woman.

^ I think the pic she posted was taken from the Fuji TV building. The one you posted was probably taken from Grand Pacific Le Daiba, since you can see Hotel Nikko in the frame. ;)

She just tweeted she's finished shooting a MV and is heading home (?) now, there was a pic from the same view but at the night

Oh so she was at Grand Pacific! I stayed there the last time I was in town. Our room was on the 25th floor and the view was amaaaaaazing :heart

Isn´t Grand Pacific very expensive? It´s 5 Star right?

The room we were in usually runs about $550 a night...thankfully, I didn't pay anywhere near that. I booked my hotel + flight through Expedia and then the hotel upgraded us when we arrived. It's a lovely property, but a little inconvenient. I love Odaiba but getting to the "mainland" back and forth every day was a pain in the ass given our packed schedule, and penchant for staying out late. My favorite part was definitely the bathroom with its double-door entrance, giant shower, and soaking tub o_____o The chandelier was a nice bonus. :heart

I have a question. What is a tissue dance?

When her dancers are holding onto those pieces of fabric you see in the picture and manipulate it to do tricks and simulate falling to the stage, etc. It's been in many of Ayu's concerts before.

Like acrobatic? The name tissue dance sounds so... ridiculous.
I imagine them dancing with a napkin/tissue to show how emotional the music is instead of such, quite plausible work and effort what is put into it.

Everybody knows Peco was the true star of A Song for xx at a-nation' 08. I had tons of gifs of her only from that perfomance :laugh She's always giving so much energy off, it's impossible not to like her on stage

^ Now that she's gone, I miss her tbh. I don't like Timmy and I didn't like Miccie...I just don't enjoy hearing her with a male backing vocalist. :shrug

I didn't go to that tour, but several fans reported that she did lip sync, which I believe, since it's common practice for her when she's doing physical stuff in performance.

When Peco was around people acted like she invented cancer or something, now you will see a lot of people saying they miss her... But this is a good part of AHS: They hate what is happening now, but they hate change even more. :P

She should have done it since years but I'm happy because it's the only way for her to evolve musically not that I have a problem with her music but it's obvious that she stagnated since some times now ...

I never liked the name "tissue dance" either. In English it's usually called "aerial silk" which is SO much nicer.

Love that shoot. I bought the magazine. That's the first summer I had as an Ayu fan <3 the memories! Everything was so new to me! I miss that feeling.

The Internet was such a different place lol.

I bought that magazine as well as the Popteen one with her seashell jeans for like...$25 total. For a 14 year old me who didn't speak Japanese that was crazy haha

I don't think so. They're not really structured like lyrics...and the "periods" at the end of each sentence make me think it's just something she wrote.

All the tracks are supposed to be upbeat tho. :shrug But who knows, I guess we could get an upbeat track with deceptively depressing lyrics lol. I think it's just a personal reflection that she wrote, but I wonder if there's any particular reason she chose that picture.
