This song is probably one of the best songs Ayu's released in the past few years for me. Something about it is just so her. The arrangement is amazing, the lyrics are great, the melody is great, I really love it.

The ending of the video is heading into a direction I think a lot of people here are tired of, but it still contains some beautiful shots. I love the sunset scenes.

Oh my god it's so beautiful! Love the song! I really feel like this mini album could be Ayu's biggest success in a long time with the NHK songs special and the quality of songs on the album.

Even though the theme in the video is exploited by Ayu to infinity and beyond it is still really nice.

The PV is very beautiful. I love the shots. I love the summer feel. Predictable but it does its job. The song on the other hand is just fantastic. I can honestly say it's one of the best songs I heard from Ayu in a while. I was instantly hooked on it. Ayu keep this up. A ONE was a good return to form. This is shaping up to be a good follow up!

Is there any autumn/maple leaves PV in her discography? I can't think of one now.

Ayu looks very sad in the beginning. Shuya made her forget about her sadness, but reality catches up when she has to head back home. Maybe something like that.

I like this MV, Ayu looks so pretty. This is actually one of few times an Ayu MV has made me like a song even more, it feels good, haha.

Btw, I liked the use of the new "popular" tattoos. I'm sure lots of Ayu fans in Japan will buy those now XD

Very nice and airy composition. Definetely not "i already did that" song. Also i like her light singing style she is doing these days, really pleasant to listen to.

Just watched it on TA. Kinda annoyed they cut off the ending again, but it's a lovely song and PV :heart I wish I liked the lyrics better but I never had a summer love. I can't relate lol

Aw the PV is nice and the acting is not over the top. Ayu looks a little weird against the sun because she tries to hold the pose but everything else is great. The song is so calming fits the weather we have here right now.

Everything about this is awesome, even though I'm myself a bit tired from the happy couple and then fighting part. It was ok on LOVE again but using exactly the same theme again... but now I will let it slide because he is not her bf/husband in real life at least.

And we don't know the ending yet.

I really like PV - it reminds me of her old summer PVs like "fairyland" and "BLUE BIRD". Song definitely grow in me after hearing it in good quality.

Wow. Yeah this is another romance PV, but it's so much more than that. It's not the typical angst-love...to an extent. It's exactly what it is - a summer love. The not wanting love in the beginning, to falling in love, to the angst of having to leave, even when the boy tries to make her stay... It's very beautiful, and I can't wait for the ending!

Just watched the PV and I loved it. It's not original, the story is very Ayu-ish, but at least it doesn't look amateur or cheap and she looks so gorgeous. The song is amazing, just amazing.

I like this pv so far. It actually looks decently done. Like, all the shots look nice and nothing looks weirdly tacky.

It also creates a nice little feel. She's so beautiful and I really do love that hair color for her.

^ Haha i can totally see this : Shuya from Days PV broke Ayu's heart and had a child with the girl he bought the ring for, then Ayu and him lose contact. Few years later the child has grown up, Shuya broke up with the girl, he and Ayu meet again during summer, Ayu at first doesn't want to be with him but she ends up falling in love with him again only to find out that the child is his and she doesn't want to be his new mother because Ayu doesn't want kids, she prefers to love them from far away.

For Sorrow's lyrics i think that its the case of her last year, come to LA, enjoy her time but can't stay, can't make a real family that way

Weirdly I feel comforted that it's Shuya lol. I guess all those years with him in her videos has conditioned me haha. When he spins around with his arms open I thought he was going to break into dance haha.


As for the stars, I think it's just to help draw attention to their hands, which keep touching each other. I can guarantee Ayu fans will have those all over them at a-nation. Including me. I'm buying them when I go to the U.S. for vacation lol.

The song is quite good, better than expected honestly. It comes off as very fresh although it's nothing new for Ayu, the composition is just beautiful.
The video is the same ol' thing we've gotten a couple of times already, but i didn't really mind it since Shu-ya is the love interest again and i missed that!

Nice melody, but she has at least twenty songs that uses the same arrangement. Guess she's firmly in Matsuda Seiko territory now then.

Similar arrangements are not that bad, but when melodies start to be repeated, then there might be issues. It is just one song after all and for Ayu even if there are 20 songs with very similar arrangements, there are 20 others that sound completely different.

Do you honestly know someone with such a large discography who does not do similar arrangements?

Its the period of her giving that classic ayu vibe to all her Japanese fans so i guess thats the point

the thing is when artists find their sound, especially the ones that have been on the scene for decades, they usually stick to it. I could name you a few who did that. Some of course end up falling into the "what's popular" and adapting to that.

It actually sounds much fresher for me than anything she did lately, it has this very very old sound of hers to me which makes it very nice. It makes me think of No Way To Say, when i hear the intro. The melody is very nice.

I gave up on one of my fave male musicians because he does so little nowadays, and when he does it sounds the same. Compared to Ayu he seems to be a lazyass now. And Ayu still gives me something that just doesn't let me give up on her. I don't know. For some reason this whole thing was giving me good wibes since we got Step by Step pv.

Wow, another thing that has leaked? Poor TA members. Bet they are not amused with this. Anyway, I think we have a lot of information already about sixxxxx within a week. Best to slow down and get 100 times more slayed on the day of the release. That's my plan.

But, I have listened to Summer Diary and it is very beautiful. The PV did not excite me that much.

Summer diary is really refreshing yet there's a bittersweet feeling. I really love this song.

As for the pv, I don't know if it's low budget or they are trying to have this 90s feel for the music video, especially the part where ayu walks in the beach... It has this old and nostalgic feeling... Reminds me of those fake music video you see when you go to those ktv/karaoke... You know those random girls walking down the beach... The sunset scene can be beautiful but sadly we only see ayu's silhouette.

I think the song is good, cant wait for the album&mirror to reach me! As for the pv, I think it's nice though I dont understand the raining part at the start. After watching on TA, kinda regret not getting the DVD too...
