Its the time of the year again :)

I wonder how is it going to be, she won't have much time to prepare after the TA tour...

It's countdown. Doesn't have to be very elaborate. Also TA tour is also a rather strip-down concert so she will be just fine ;)

Well, TA shows aren't that demanding in terms of logistic so her staff can handle both projects simultaneously. About her physical condition to CDL, I think the logic is the same, 'cause it's a "raw" tour, without gimmicks, so the only concern is about her voice. With some days of rest, she can do it.

This year Ayu working like...never before...

one album, one mini album, long arena tour with 3 1/2 hours concert length, TA tour and now CDL...she is...doing it

tbh that's what I am expecting :P Add some dancers here and there, some circus stuff and voi la we a CDL

And then there won't be a need for a special DVD/blu-ray release as well :P

But ayu's CDLs are usually preparing for the tour/sometimes albums themes so they might be different and the next tour would have elements/songs/performances from the CDL.

I want to see goods already:-) I'm in a need of nice towel.

I want something like a castle-themed stage and elaborate costumes, where she can be a princess.:luv2:luv2 Or maybe something futuristic like AT06 but WOTHOUT wedding dresses.

I don't really want a theme tbh. These past years ayu's tours haven't been exciting because I feel as though I've seen everything on her CDL lives. :(

As long as she retires the circus theme I'm fine with whatever theme she comes up with. She had enough circus already.

I wonder what theme there could even be..
but I do hope as well that she isn't gonna use circus stuff again..

After the TA tour ends, i hope Ayu surprizes us with a short blond hair a lá 2002 Ayu with Big sunglasses, and the she will bombard us with camouflage goods again. The next theme would be something like military and such. LOL

Maybe it could be too much controversial, with all the militarization thing going on there in Japan :P

(but I would love to see some political commentary from her about it, even if it were subtle)

I also hope the circus theme will be gone now because she shouldn't overuse it imo. It was nice to use it for the Cirque de minuit CDL and tour but it's time to do something new.

She should also ditch SURREAL~evolution~SURREAL medley because I'm pretty sick of that + I also feel that these songs are better sung separately.

^well don't put your hope too high..those songs are concert staples and really good for a concert...It's really fun songs

I realize though the start time for this year's December 31st concert is 11:00 PM. I think for the past few years she's done 10:00 PM start (all started with the PCDL)...or wasn't last year's CDL for 12/31 started at 11:00 PM?

Now she is going to make a Casino concept, she will make a logo with circus' elements, lol.

id prefer CDLs to have no certain theme actually. I like CDL12-13. even though it has a title, it didn't had a certain theme but the concert was really well presented IMO. this is probably the first time i'll say this but after going to CDL13-14 to Premium Showcase, then Cirque du Minuit both CDL and Arena Tour, im thirsty for something different.

But i'm going!! nonetheless..

My absolute favorite CDL is still 04-05, it's so simple and perfect. I don't need fancy themes for CDL and long as it fun to watch :)

And I would LOVE a Trauma performace.

I just wish ayu wouldnt spoil the tour by showing us 60% of it at the countdown. Her tours aren't interesting anymore. Why can't a countdown just be simple.

I agree, CDL should be simple and she doesn't need to integrate it to AT. I don't mind if we don't get lavish stages or theme, she should keep it for AT.

Personally i don't need theme for countdown. I also think that Countdowns don't need to be very elaborate but as we know standards for all kind of concerts with Ayu increase. We will see, for sure it will be a lot of fun.

I'm fine if it comes with no theme at all, in fact, if she decides to do that something like PCDL (no specific theme, long setlist with rare perfomed songs), I'll be more than happy. Just keep the circus/casino stuff away for a while.

At this point I don't know what she could do create to a more innovative show ?? She tried nearly everything possible !! I would advise her to not make it a prelude of an upcoming AT 2016 but at the same time CDL almost always be a taste of what will follow up...

:D She should do a theme based on minimalism and everything will be white, gray, or black.

Well, kind of joking but I am gonna have to draw this. XD

But in all seriousness, I hope this year will be great. I think it's cool that she's been working SO hard this year. By the end of it, I hope she won't be completely burnt out.

Actually i would love the concept! Both circque de minuit concerts were great for me and this CD as conclusion of the year? I'm cool with it. Meaning fresh start and surprising tour next year.

I didn't say I want them out permanently. -.- I want them to have separate performances just like what she used to have before. I loved those separate performances so much. I did like that medley thing at first but now it just annoys me. SURREAL should always be performed separately. It's the best when it's done like that. Evolution and UNITE! should form a medley instead imo.

I was at that one! It was really a great show -- but it was her last "low-key" CDL, and the My Story tour to follow was such a HUGE show, I remember feeling afterward like I was just a little bit too early to see a huge spectacle.

I think You and Me is one of her worst songs ever. And I actually like Feel the love, it's very uplifting :yes

^ To me it's the opposite hahaha I didn't like Y&M at first tho, but after watching it live, I couldn't not enjoy it. Feel the love otoh just doesn't feel like a "ayu's song" but rather a song with ayu vocals (not sure if that makes sense), it is generic and doesn't get nowhere... I do listen to it sometimes tho, it is on my cardio workout playlist :P

Ayu has done a lot of ~cultural appropriation~ (this screams "tumblr" so much) in her career lmao, just look at her "blackface" on appears cover, or her Don't look back performance... but it doesn't bother me, once you start to know what cultural appropriation is you start to see it everywhere and you can't enjoy anything so better put that away when it comes to Ayu.
