I was checking out their songs a couple of months ago, I like Fire (I remember it started playing all the time when I opened Avex's youtube channel, so I ended up listening to it). I don't know much about them though.

Finally! I was thinking to start this thread. I saw them when they debuted but didn't get my attention but now I'm a big fan. They have improved a lot on live. Their vocals are good and the dance is amazing. They are cool with their expressions and her music is getting better. I can't wait to see more of them.
I love shake shake but I think my favourite song they have sung is pop that. I can't wait to have ladi ladi full! This sunday will be released on digital (not sure at all) but I have preordered the single :D |
pimenta There are not a lot of informations about them. Even on their profil pages. I hope that interviews or avex will bring more soon.
Uknow! I followed them since their debut single too. Their first songs are very AAA-ish but it seems that their new single get a more distinctive sound. Which is good. :yes Pop That!! is cool. They were nominated as Next Break Artist for VMAJ this year. That's why I watched fire! and Shake Shake and I didn't like both really much. Their voices are so autotuned sometimes, that it was hard to tell for me if they even have any talent (and the dancing wasn't that great for their debut also, let's be honest).
But I gonna try their new single, when it's coming out. |

I like more the cover of the digital release too. First time I listened fire! I didn't like it due to the autotune but with the time I like all their songs. They aren't bad live, I've never seen them lipsync and her voices are clear but there aren't any strong vocal at the moment but for me it's ok. |
tbh the only song from them I really liked was Fire!... The autotune is a bit too much in it, but I like the song anyway.
Still, they have talent. They dance well, the vocals are nice (when there's no autotune covering them, but I don't really mind the autotune) and I like the idea of mixed gender groups, I'll keep checking their releases. ladi dadi sounds good. |

I listened to the single. pop that!! deseves to be an A-side even if ladi dadi is great too. woooooh! make me think about the summer.
The only song I dislike is the remix of fire!. The original is better. ladi dadi single is better than fire single to me. It has more soul and character |

I like follow me. It is a good song but I can't say I love it like pop that!! or ladi dadi.
What bothered me about the song is the same that I don't like about american pop nowadays. I can't explain it good, but I can't find the soul that I find on j-pop EDM songs like ladi dadi (composed by BACK-ON) or shake shake (composed by EIGO). I think it's because they covered it but they didn't make the song theirs. For example, if Ayu make a cover I know she will make it to sound like a J-pop song. I got into SWEET PAIN (globe cover) lately, they did a good job. I don't know if I explained well my opinion, my english is awful. |

I listened hello 5 times and I liked it. I think it's a grower and studio version will be better.
Normally I like how they combine their voices, they are really good at this but Hello sounds a little strange in this aspect. Although, It's a new song and they need to practice more. They seem tired, but I suppose it's normal because new single + social media + live circuit + practicing for the new concert. I liked hibiki rap but she sounds like she hadn't air. Well, she's my favourite member so I'm more critic. But woooh! live was really good and had better vocals. They have to learn a lot of choreographies hahaha |

The first starlight preview is too LQ to appreciate it. It sounds so compressed. I wouldn't mind if it was a fan rip but here it's an official preview. I wonder why they posted it if it was to share better preview the day after. starlight sounds very generic and forgettable when you know their others songs.
Think of you is nice but the chorus is very generic summer Jpop-like song. Brand new story is their first mid-tempo ballad-like song. Quite standard too. hanauta sounds good. The intro ♥ Girl is mine reminds me a bit pop that! in that it sounds very original and fierce spank!! sounds good without being amazing. I'm not really fond of the chorus while the verse's melody is great. Hello! is a bit the same than spank!!. The verse is great but the chorus is meh. However I prefer the Hello! chorus than spank!! one. If I have to rank them, it'll be : 1 - Girl is mine 2 - hanauta 3- hello 4- Think of you 5- spank! 6- brand new story 7- starlight With so many new songs, I suppose will get an announcement about their debut album soon. |

As we said, the song is quite generic but I think in full it gains points, the breakdance part was a surprise, I like the dynamic and instrumental. Sync is 100 times better, but the single is going to be released in December (Winter, Christhmas) so I understand why they chose bye bye as lead single. I hope the PV is something new and no only they dancing again. |

MV in collaboration with popteen (I don't know if there is gonna be another PV) I think the song is better than I expected, typical winter jpop song. I know avex likes to use autotune (is the watermark for lol) but they can sing very well and the autotune is a no in bye bye. |
^Thank you. The pv is boring. The story doesn't have any originality. I just like the rooms sceneries when the girls are crying. The projections build an interesting atmosphere. I hope there'll be another version the song deserves a better pv.

The play of the lights seems interesting. The overall aspect reminds me the end of 90s~debut 2000s a lot. I don't really know why. Maybe because of the way they filmed the dance and the outfits?
