They're not all singing classic songs, some are promoting new releases. Sandaime J Soul Brothers will be singing a new song from their new album as well. And, technically, Ayu's also promoting a new release, it just so happens to be a re-release of an old album... As for AKB48 singing 3 songs... oh, well, I don't really like it, but I can't say I'm surprised.

Well, she performed SEASONS on FNS. Also, she did A song is born on Music Station in September. And she also performed on NHK SONGS in July, don't remember the set list for that one

^ One of the songs she performed on NHK SONGS was Step by step, so I guess it ended up being sort of a promotion for sixxxxxx?

There are a lot of graduated members in this performance. Shinoda Mariko, Maeda Atsuko, Oshima yuko, Kasai tomomi, Akimoto sayaka, Itano tomomi. It's because they're part of the newest single. And yay ayu is back i can see her now lol
