Probably some magazine around her first thing era lol I do think some are still true, like purple being one of her favourite colours, she had a lot of purple outfits during her career and some are pretty iconic (like the FREAKY dress)

Just got back from Tokyo 1st date at NHK Hall.
From all of her lives/concerts I attended, today's live was just OK. It's like a recycle from her FC live in 2014, which she sang all of her singles in medley. But this time with all of the props and full team. The best part of the tour was Rock-Dance section. DITR, CWGB and Pop Diva were my fave. Shh! was also great as opening. Costumes are great, except the white nun-like dress (before she took off the lower part). There were times that she screamed due to high notes. Well, after watched WOML performance last year, it feels like a downgrade tour. For Hall Tour, I feel Bon Voyage was way better. Probably because of the theme and new songs. I really hope she releases new album with new theme. Although I love black and white, but it's getting old. Please no more black and white, Kuu... I miss her various album themes like Universe, Japonesque or Bon Voyage. During MC, she announced: "5 days 3 nights Hawaii tour" which will be held on Oct 12th~16th, for FC member only. (now I'm tempted :love) Also, she mentioned that the new song "Promise You" is dedicated for her son. No mention of releasing it as single or whatsoever at the moment. |

Can you believe 3 nights with Kuu and staffs??? |
That sounds amazing! Omfg. I would actually consider going to it no matter how much it was but I'm pretty sure this won't be open for the international fanclub / they probably don't want any foreigners lol.
At least now we know what will be on the fanclub edition of Kuu's next album! :P |

A Hawaiian-themed FC only concert but still in Japan sounds more reasonable, but either way it sounds great!

Arrival and departure from Haneda and Kansai airport... means it probably is an all inclusive event. Like that it's probably too expensive to go for foreign fans not living in Japan, buhu. ;_; Anyway, more details and info, how to apply, coming soon. |
It's great for Kuu to plan something like this but overseas fanclub trips are not cheap
The estimated cost might probably be somewhere around 179,000 Yen - 248,000 Yen and that might not include airport surcharges and taxes @_@ I don't think 30 fans will be selected to go . The number might be bigger since fans will depart from 2 different airports Anyway the amount might be even higher if Kuu chose to do a combined overseas trip + concert together but let's leave it as that Tour agency wise , probably H.I.S or BLESS-INC might take care of things |
I just hope, they're maybe planning to offer two different options - one for the all inclusive trip with a sleep over with Kuu and one just attending the lives in Hawaii.
Would be a fair deal for everyone imo. And as they're calling it a "Hawaii Tour", there probably will be more than one concert. Then tickets for the concerts only would even make more sense. |
Since this's the 1st time she's doing an overseas fanclub trip , it's hard to say for now
Different artistes have different programmes they do for their own overseas trips but most of the time , concert performances will be included in the schedule that will cater exclusively to those accompanying the artiste End of the day it really depends on how big the budget Rhythm Zone gives to Kuu because doing an overseas trip and bundling it together with a tour is costly I say costly but still fans will still go for it . And with this being fanclub related , I'm sure the lottery system will be implemented Somehow I doubt avex will specially prepare and build a stage for Kuu in Hawaii to perform :x It sounds crazy but it did happened . That will be great if it materialises but I don't think it will happen |

It'll probably be set up by a japanese travel agency, similar to how Avex organized tours for the a-nation held in Singapore. They also did it for Ayu's Asian leg of her tours.
If that's the case, you'd have to join the group at the meeting point and everyone departs together. As international fans would be all over the place, it'd be much harder to organize. That's not to say they couldn't go to the concert on their own terms, assuming tickets are sold that way as well. But I do hope international fans have the opportunity. It'd be a really cool chance! |

I guess it won't be like her usual live.
Probably something small like love & songs at Billboard live, with only small FC crowds. She mentioned she'd like to play, go on a trip, swimming or Karaoke with her fans.. So I think it'll be very limited (organizing big group is not easy) And honestly I don't think it'll be suitable for foreigners to join the whole trip, as they will probably have problems with language and stuffs. Also, it's quite difficult to mix with Japanese people if you don't understand the language, culture, habit, etc. It may be possible if they open it for fans who want to join the live only, without having to join the whole trip. Guess, have to pass this one.. definitely will be too costly *sob sob* (plus, not sure whether I can get days off from work and need to appy for US Visa..) |

well most of them were part of the "leaked" Album tracklist for WOML before any songs or title popped up on those sites...
Perfect Beat and 1-2 other songs been there since mid/end of 2015... The Pitcher, Sirens, Funky Steps, Shhh!, Cupcake just popped up i believe she really plans ahead (like second session was already in works when secret was released) so she probably keeping those songs waiting for the right time to release it, especially when she's been to studio alot in the last month... so basically after ayu did MADE IN JAPAN, i hope this will be her time to put a Beyoncé after her 60th Single or at least release it at the end of the tour in november! btw i always thought if someone would drop a surprise release Kuu would be first lol anyways why did Kuu's instagram got deleted tho? |

This Hawaii thing just sounds like a Let's Party vol.3 to me. Great news for the people that can afford this kind of events. She should consider doing her third photobook there as well

I just looked it up, its her official Twitter account I was thinking about. I don't use or care for social media, so either way I don't have any problems. I've always just used this thread for updates on Kuu tbh.

I just notice that everytime that I see a mercedes, I start thinking about the song haha. I wasn't a fan of the song during the first week that the album was released, but now I like it a lot. WOML still my favorite album. ♥

I'm so mad at her global fc now, the only thing they've been updating for weeks is the Q&A section and monthly movies and nothing more...? I remember there are times when they suddenly update 30 posts translated in English all at once, like someone reminded them the site hasn't been updated in ages... It's one of the things I like the most and it seems like they don't care about it. If I don't have concrete chances of attending a Kuu concert on 2017, I won't renew it next time :headache

^yes it's actually integrated in the itunes programm if you got the latest updated version...
there is even an app for android phones. apple music costs 9,99€/month in your case and i think they still have the first 3 month for free trial thing but idk (or 14,99€/month for a family package like i do so i can additional 5 iTunes Accounts like i added my mom, best friend, boyfriend, etc so they can use it as well.) you just need to create an apple ID which is your e-mail and add your credit card or use an iTunes card to pay for it. the good thing avex artists will get money from the streams so thats why i'm happy i jumped over to apple music back then. you can just stream the music, but can save them so you can hear them offline. i think this won't be on spotify anytime soon cause spotify let people stream music for free so avex won't share their stuff when they won't get money for streaming... |

Well, that's a point to think on. I already have some troubles with their cloud storage cause when I download an album with incorrect tags, I correct them in the same moment, but the files kept on the cloud go with the wrong tag. Then the next time I open up iTunes, it'll change my music back to the cloud (wrong) tags :dead2

Just got Apple Music and decided to give Walk of My Life another listen as I straight up detested it when it released. However, on second chance...I love it! Sometimes Dreams Come True, Like It & Piece in the Puzzle are absolute gems. Can we talk about how amazing this album is? I know I'm not the only one who hated it last year haha

i'm really pumped for her new single, her summer singles are the most exciting!! wonder if we get 3 or 4 A-Sides again for her 60th! i just HATE it when this will be an august release again... :eyes WOML isn't a bad album, it's really fitting for the autumn season and it has really good songs! i think it's just too much songs, they should leave MONEY IN MY BAG, LIFE is GOOD!!, Lippy, Mercedes cause they drag the flow... when u add SO FEVER and 君思い to it it's a really nice album Quote:

^yeah it fucks up 1-3 times and then settles with my decisions. Could be caused by the fact that I'm reorganising my music and changed like 20 albums in a row...so apple music always decides to change the things back on 3-4 albums.
I still find it funny that my iPhone seems to download from the apple store but ultimately has my tags in the end. For example: Ayus BLUE BIRD is downloaded from a summer best but appears on Secret like in my own library. |
To me , sound consistency was a problem in past albums of Kuu . I surprisingly did not have it with WOML
WOML is frankly under rated although I disliked Like It (ironically) at 1st as I found it rather annoying but I like the portions when Kuu rap For me the problem I had with WOML were the song titles as they sounded quite boring but the songs themselves are a different thing once I heard them I just wished PIECE IN THE PUZZLE and/or House Party would have gotten PVs :x And eh Gubsi , I think you meant Spring ? Cos Autumn does not fall in March , LOL |

like Bon Voyage sounds more like a summer album or Ayu's Love songs is a spring album tbh sometimes they don't fit the season they were released imo it's just they had to put them out cause the label told them to release it Quote:

^ No, she commemorates her anniversaries while on the countdown for them. She began the 15th anniv special stuff with the first class second limited live on December 2014 and finished them with The Artist on December 2015, and that was pretty much the same with her 10th anniversary :P And yeah, WOML was her 15th anniv album, it was promoted that way and the tour also had the 15th anniv theme along with supporting the album.

Liking an album and saying it's a masterpiece or not is really subjective
I dislike Kingdom but others like it . Same thing with TRICK , I like it but others don't WOML is 1 of the rare Kuu albums that I listen constantly on a regular basis . I'm not sure if not hearing the demo melodies helped though The only downside of the album is the cover artwork seeing that it's very simplify unlike her past albums that had various interesting themes |

WOML definitely is an album you need more listens to get into it.
Also I do believe it's not a coincidence she released such an important album for her on her 15th Anniversary and it having that free life theme. Don't know if you guys remember, but she also did say in interviews before, that earlier in her career she wished her voice to be higher so she could fit better in the JPop music market. She needed time to embrace her voice being different. So that's maybe also a reason for her love for western (produced) music as her voice just fits it better. Or at least that's what she believes. |
