Usually in other pictures she looks much younger than her real age. And that's not "dewy" skin. That's what I call greasy skin. From using moisturizers or makeup containing oil. Unfortunately it's a very common thing in Asia, particularly in Korea. Women attempt to look dewy but just end up looking greasy. Despite all this, it doesn't change the fact that her hair looks good and she's in great shape. |

With the recent highlighter craze, almost everyone is looking greasy nowadays, lets be real
I can't stand overly highlighted makeup (I read my friend for looking like a greased up lunch lady the other day), but I'm in love with her hair and that outfit. I love how that purse is basically a pouch for her phone alone, lol |
Actually I just read an article that "sweaty skin" is the next makeup trend. And Victoria Beckham is one of the more famous "pioneers" of it. And Ayu seems to like her. Not saying that's what this is lol, but it's interesting to note~
Matte skin is generally fading out of favor for ~high~ fashion. But with the 90s so in trend, I'd say it'll still be popular with the normal people. Lol |
So I can do nothing with my skin and be in trend? %) Or there are some options?

It's funny how her outfits determine what her age gonna look like, if she wears dresses she'll look like her actual age, but then, if she wears her casual street wear she'll look like 10 years younger

I actually think it's funny, how Ayu is doing her street style with high fashion brands. This pretty much goes against the original purpose of street fashion.

Some artists (including Japanese ones) perform for reach people at parties, weddings, etc, and of course they don't advertise that. Maybe it was one of those cases?

Edit: found comment revealing that acquaintance of one fan girl knew that she liked Ayu and told her about this upcoming event, so she was able to fly from Japan and attend. |

There's a report from a person who attended this event.
So yeah, this dinner show was to celebrate the 49th anniversary of foundation of PARADISE CASINO WALKERHILL. It was strictly forbidden to take photos. As we can see on photos there were cards on each table asking not to do that. Approximately 500 guests attended this show, including VIPs from all over Japan. So cool...! I like this kind of hush-hush performance for her. It's really intriguing and she looks beautiful. The setlist is actually pretty cool to me, too.

It must have been a super hush hush VIP event that she couldn't even really mention till after the fact. Awesome that she can do these nowadays. She did used to do those shareholder concerts too before they stopped holding them entirely too.

I tried to imagine Ourselves in acoustic piano, it's hard. Maybe something like that first verse of Evolution at MIJ. Anyhoo kinda boring setlist, she sang halves of those songs so many times.
On the other hand, with Ayu making appearance in front of some ViP, hopefully she get another tie in again. |

Well it looks like a fancy dinner party so it's pretty normal she only sang ballads and major hits :yes it's a 49th anniversary of whatever, probably a lot of elder people, it would have been crazy to perform XOXO or Summer Love :laugh
