Today's post is about Dangerous.
It's (co-)written by her! Her first song in 10 years. (literally she says, that she got to compose a little after 10 years) It's a song about standing up and believe in yourself to change something. Plus as the theme song of the mobile game of Black Clover it's also a song about being brave in a dangerous situation or place. She wants everybody to sing the Nananas and dance with her. I hate commenting on the weight of a woman as a man....just very awkward. But, Koda was scary thin around the release of Cherry Girl and Black Cherry. That was a time, where I was a bit concerned. Her workload was absolutely crazy and her schedule was insane.

They announced the terms for refunding the Mie a-nation tickets today.
So no replacement date. Surprisingly the regular ticket sale for her DNA Tour is already on-going! I've missed the announcment some days ago. Sometimes commas in Japanese mean "ellipsis". Sometime only two of the Japanese style like 、、 sometimes three, four, five haha
The west introduced much of nowadays punctuation used in Japan, and although there are specific rules to use them (believe me, part of my semester here I spent studying/analyzing the use of punctuation in Japanese texts lol), the use of comma is rather optional and..... Very open haha there are times when they are needed, yes. But there are many many times they are there just because lol this apply to ellipsis, especially in a context of internet/blogging (and Koda's lyrics lol) |

WATCH OUT is my least favorite song of the album, maybe even for the past projects as well (AND and W FACE in~out). The song just doesn't go nowhere, even the rest of the song is just the same. The PV is good tho, nice colors and effects, just wish the song was better, or this PV was for another song. CHANCES ALL is fun, I like it ♥ Wish it had one more scene/set. What made Someday and Anata ga shite kureta koto work was having a different scene to give a little of diversification. I'm excited for Sukkiri tomorrow! I hope someone records in good quality. |

"WATCH OUT!!" is definitely...hard to swallow. I'm not going to write it off yet, but I can't really see myself liking it much. I can't even say I need to wait for the full version, because the PV short version is more or less the majority of the song already.
"CHANCES ALL" seems like it could grow on me more. Not sure yet. "HAIRCUT" isn't bad, but it also feels like it's missing something? I will say that I absolutely hate how she sings the "way" line during the chorus, though. I'm still going to remain optimistic about this release, regardless. |
