"Anime" in japanese means animation. It doesn't necessary refers to japanese animation.

If I recall it correctly, it was used in the game Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams for PS2.

But that wasn’t dedicated to something that was promoted with her tracks.

In Japan all animated films/series are Animes, they don’t put it as an extra genre as we western countries do... ;)

She most likely wants to forget about the Dragon Ball live action movie like rest of us and prefer to focus on the franchise and the Akira Toriyama drawing of her :P

In this day and age you could kind of say that about anything, can't you? Some people want a download, or an offline version (if they don't pay for Premium services).
