Thanks Aderianu, I've been meaning to make seasonal playlists for a while but can never be bothered, so I just subscribed to yours instead! :D

I was just looking at the Top Countries list and I must say I'm quite surprised! I imagined China was going to be higher up, and Turkey? Never would have seen this coming! I remember reading here that Japan doesn't necessarily use Spotify a lot so somehow it's still nice that they're n.1 on the list! |

Not really a stats update but Love song just reached 1M streams! This is her 34th song to do so, next one is aeternal, currently it has 990k streams so it's really close, try to play it if you have the chance! :yes |

I am... is her most streamed album with almost 18M streams! ^And yes, you're right, those 3 are her albums with lowest streams, RnRC has barely 1M streams, Sixxxxxx about 370k and Party Queen have criminally low streams with just 430K :( I know most people don't like the album but we should try to boost its numbers tbh it deserves better!

Really not a massive fan of sixxxxxx myself (apart from Sorrows maybe) but there are so many songs I love on the other two!
I'm not surprised for Party queen as it seems to be generally hated but I thought RnRC had a few fan favourites on it, at least Microphone? |

^I'll see what I can do! the online tools I use to check her stats don't have that option, at least in the free version, some have a "premium" membership that allows you to have a better insight and have a monthly, weekly and probably daily update but I'm not in the best financial situation to pay a membership lol

Yes njanjayrp is right, it has almost 2.7 million and it's kinda funny how the "boring and generic Ayu songs that sound the same" as many described aeternal, WORDS and The Way I Am are clearly more popular than WATQ and W :laugh aeternal is my favorite tbh :yes

Do we know how many streams Dreamed a Dream has? I overplayed it when it came out and I am really curious about it.
I made mood playlists, focusing only on 4 moods and using my favorites. Most of Ayu's songs can fit into more categories at once, but I tried not to repeat the songs so each playlist should have an unique set of songs. So these past weeks she's been having around 1M streams each week, so let's use 1M as her avarage, that means in a week she makes around $4370 from Spotify streams BUT Ayu's case is kinda particular, I checked and there's also an extra part that goes for songwritting royalties, in the case the artist is also the songwritter this extra money goes for them as well, I'm not sure how much it is but with 1M streams she should make around $4500 - $4700 I guess. Again, I'm just using data from last year and even that source stated that it varies a lot from each artist so I could be really close or really wrong :laugh also I don't know how that amount is distributed between Ayu, Avex, the producers and musicians involved so yeah it's really interesting but we can't know for sure without official stats. |

Ayu was smart to compose some of her biggest hits. It means she gets royalties from the lyrics, music and vocals haha. For karaoke too she gets a lot because she’s written every song since debut.

Number of followers: 539,287k Total Streams: 132,204,025M Around 3K new followers and 1M streams per week it's been pretty constant, that's awesome! Also Haru Yo, Koi has around 40K streams in just 3 days, I don't remember the exact ammount of Ohia no Ki and DaD but it seems to be doing better. EDIT: Ohia no Ki has entered her TOP 50 most streamed songs, surpassing Pray and The Way I am. |

It seems like Spotify is doing a way better job of promoting her than Apple Music who for some reason love putting Ai Otsuka everywhere but only ever use Ayu's early stuff.

Thank you for updating the post every week, I didn't know that you can see the numbers for all of the songs on spotify.
I also made a playlist awhile ago called "A ROCK BEST" (and also added a Japanese title so that it will be accessible to Japanese), but Aderianu already made a great A ROCK setlist I see! In my case I put almost (if not all) ayu's rock/rock-oriented songs on the playlist. =) |

I know what i want and I download that - I never streamed music according to suggestions and since everything I use is apple (imac, macbook, ipad, iphone) AM makes more sense in terms of the app and I do hink its better sorted but spotify has the better features lol
