gosh I would love this. fairyland is so beautiful—and just so noticeably expensive (it is one of the most expensive videos ever made)—and I love how it combines both the carefree, shiny part of summer with a sudden darkness that I honestly found quite shocking when I first saw it. I really didn't think the video would end with the whole beach house burning down and her looking on with such despair.

anyways, looking at her Instagram stories got me excited for the summer song. I don't want to aim too high at fairyland; a newer, updated BLUE BIRD would be perfect :luv2

All info up on her website. New song “Summer again” as a digital single on July 1st. I like the cover, a lot more than nonfiction one, but I will never understand why they have to make them so claustrophobic. Like… it had a lot of potential to be a gorgeous cover but well.
On another side note, they also revealed the cover for the DVD on Pia arena. I love that cover, but seriously, it has ANYTHING to do with the concert itself lol I doesn’t even match the atmosphere of it.
Oh well, hoping the song and the video are great!

After Nonfiction's cover I was ready for something amateurish and totally random but, oh boy I was wrong! I can't remember the last time they put so much effort into covers. The new shoots are iconic like the good old days. You can really picture something behind that simple picture. A whole concept. It will definitely stay in one's mind.

Wish there was more of that orange hue on the single cover (like on the DVD) to make it look less like a "studio" shot and more like a "on location" one. That Asia Tour cover is gorgeous. The CDL one is good too! The font are bad as usual haha and the single title is boring AF but I really don't care. Just keep on making another good music with a good video and I'm fine!
Hope what's left to be revealed is of the same quality. :luv2

Hoping that the Lord have mercy on us and it doesn’t sound even remotely close to that…song.
I’m picturing it sounding upbeat and in the vein of Inspire. Everything, even the cover pose is reminiscent of it for me. So yeah, I’m hoping for something like that, but updated and sounding more fresh.

The title is indeed VERY Ayu :D I can't get over the covers though. I miss these extra over the top photoshoots from her. She's been so casual for a very long time, which i don't really mind, cuz she's a beauty, but she's a veteran in the music industry she could totally go all out and pay homage to her golden days. It suits her too~ And tell stories with her covers as well, which she used to do a lot back in the day.
This really does make me think of Inspire. I honestly don't know why they don't theme the single covers to the music videos. It's seems like a no brainer, but for some reason hardly anyone does that. I remember GACKT used to do that a lot, and i always thought it was such a cool way of linking the whole trio together - music, video and the cover.

Ngl, the visuals are very pretty for the single, but the title seems like a very generic mellow-radio pop song. I hope I am wrong, cause this is indeed VERY ayu'ish title, and I am a fan from 2004 and I never learned that her titles are so tacky. :D

But the visuals seems like the song really might be something out of the 'generic' box for this one.
