This year, the COUNTDOWN LIVE will be held at the sacred Yoyogi National Stadium 1st Gymnasium again!
The title of the concert is "Remember you", which is the title ayu has set for the year 2023, the year of their 25th anniversary.

Is anyone planning to go? I've never been but have been really worried that Ayu will retire soon so considering putting in for the ballot.......... (now that Japan is opening up to tourists again as well)

I was planning on going... But flight tickets are getting so much expensive... I should've buy it last month, but Japan hadn't announced it's opening yet.

So I don't know yet... If I can find cheap flight tickets, I'll go for sure.

I hope she sings more song from her new album, wonder if she would have an arena tour for the new album, ah good old days

I'm out of the loop. Have there been any rumors or statements?

I am hoping to hang out near the venue if my schedule allows it, but not planning to buy a ticket since the vocals and partial lip-syncing will inevitably disappoint me.

I’ll be entering the lottery, hopefully I can go :)

I'm not sure what "remember you" is supposed to mean. Remember about yourself? I should remember myself? Ayu remembers me? us? fans? We must not forget the song "you"?
Is it common to say it like this in English? I don't think I have ever seen those two words together.

"Remember me" was a song in Coco and that was my immediate thought.

"Remember you" could have the A symbol in between as logo and it could be spelled "remember Ayu" and could be the final tour ever (prolonged for x years like TROUBLE tour). Just joking.

The Japanese pronunciation, remenbaa yuu (their english pronunciation is strongly influenced by the British accent), sounds like "remember Ayu". That's the same logic behind "Are You Wake Up" (Ayu, wake up) and "ayuready".

She is reading it and she will choose NOT to perform them. She will perform SURREAL~evolution~SURREAL, Boys & Girls, MY ALL, Who..., Bold & Delicious

i think we can expect some emo songs.. since ayu is feeling emotional lately.. and this would be lead straight into her 25th anniversary year. we can expect things like one wing angels, a cruel world, coffins, if u know what i mean.

Does anyone know if the CDL will be broadcast on tv/online or at what point they usually announce details if they are doing a broadcast?

Apparently, the towels, tshirts and sweatshirts are not actually finalized yet—Ayu wasn’t happy with the outcome.

Last year we got the DTV stream information on December, 16 (at least this is when the ticket sales started) so they might do it similarly this year - if they decide to stream. I hope they will, and also that maybe via some more internationally friendly service.

Hopefully they do make it international-friendly, like CDL 2020-21 was supposed to be (they probably lost a lot of money since it got cancelled and they had to refund all the tickets). It's like they don't want the ticket sales they could have if they do it on Mu-mo streaming or Thumva that are international compatible. Plus this year New Year's eve is on a weekend so International audiences would be more likely to buy a ticket/watch from any time zone.

I would love to see a X-shaped Stage, like Taylor Swift's Reputation Tour.

It's interesting how things changed. I used to look up concert tickets in reseller shops online and there would be a lot of them for various artists. Now there are tickets available only for 3 acts. I guess digital tickets or whatever changed how this business works. So this time scalpers won't be selling tickets near the venue either?

As much as I want to believe it, it is probably a marketing attempt to sell out the show because from what I see now plenty of tickets are available for both dates, despite being on sale from 16th.

I went by Yoyogi about an hour ago. Aaahh I'm super excited, you guys. I wanted to pick up my ticket already but I wasn't able to for some reason (I wasn't given a reason, just told to come back later). Nice to see some international fans there too, not that I know anyone!
Also heard some of concert sound check and ayu's practice. It felt very surreal. :D

Arrived at the venue now. Doors will be open in around 50 mins. Curious for the stage design this time. Seems like it is not a center stage this time because there are people who got arena seats in A and C blocks.

The stage has a very long catwalk in the center. Nice to meet some forum members today while waiting for the Global fan club tickets. :)

Now I got excited, keep posting the news :D

so far this feels really good, maybe I'd switch M for sth less performed.

Where do you think countdown will step in? During PCDL (and 12-13) it was Who which worked okay. It never did much for me with songs like Rainbow or audience.

I think the most memorable countdown was Forgiveness at CDL 14-15 Cirque de Minuit, the transition was so nice, so often countdown is almost pushed away by song continuing like nothing happened but during Forgiveness they actually gave it some thought with all those heart messages, the flow was really well done.

I think How beautiful you are would also work well.

I was just thinking how good NEXT LEVEL was combined with The way I am following at PoM 2018. I'm so surprised she doesn't like the concert to the point of not releasing it, it is in my top5.
