On April 8, 2023, on the day of the 25th anniversary of ayu's debut, a one-night-only premium live was held at the sacred ground Yoyogi Daiichi Gymnasium!
Everything is ”for the fans who have walked with me so far.”
Ayu, the performers, the staff, and the audience, which is the last piece, are united to build a one night-only special showcase.
Like a festival celebrating the trajectory of 25 years, presenting a super luxurious set list covering everything from rare songs to hits, culmination of Ayumi Hamasaki entertainment!

The TeamAyu / mu-mo shop limited edition includes "ayumi hamasaki COUNTDOWN LIVE 2022-2023 A ~Remember you~" held on December 31, 2022. In addition, a luxurious special box specification that includes an original passport case and a postcard set using the jacket photo of the LIVE package released so far!

Because of you was (for me) the worst presentation in CDL22-23. Her vocals was horrible u.u Maybe she felt the same...

yall, dont scare me like that Because of you is my fave song from Memorial address!! Besides they can just dub the performance, bcuz ppl (or i guess at least me) mostly watch her shows for the theatrics not the vocals LMAO that's mother but she's no mariah or whitney!! and that's okay!

anyways, this woman is gonna be the death of me cuz only for her would i fork over almost $150 for 2 Blu-rays... and that's not even including the tenso shipping and handling fee i'll have to pay later :tired but I really did love the 25th anniversary show and i never got to finish the CDL 22-23 show so i'm excited to watch them in HD quality as well with better audio. this is gonna be my first standalone ayu concert video i'll own as well!!! the concerts i have are because they came packaged with an album (CDL 06-07 on A BEST 2 -WHITE- and a-nation '20 on Remember you TA edition)

This reminds me that we haven't had a proper rip of the Blu-ray version of this show so far.

If i knew how to rip Blu-rays i'd do it... does anyone have a tutorial or something?

Showing the 25th anniversary abema tv live again, and before starting the concert, Ayu gave us a spoiler. in the songs that played in the stadium, they played "as if ..." lol

The release date is just less than one month, and we have not gotten the cover photo yet. Is this going to be delayed again?

I've used RedFox AnyDVD HD (https://www.redfox.bz/en/anydvdhd.html) for years to backup my purchases, both DVD and Blu-ray. It creates an icon next to the system clock in Windows; pop in the disc, wait a few seconds, right-click on the icon, then click on Rip to Image. It's really that simple.

That creates a 1:1 rip, which means it's 100% identical to the original. Personally, this is what I prefer; even though a full concert might be up to ~50GB, disk space is cheap, and after some bad experiences, I can't bring myself to blindly trust re-encoding with various codecs with an infinite number of settings to try. Then sit through the whole thing again from end-to-end, looking for glitches.

AnyDVD isn't free, but they have a free trial (3 weeks, I think). Once the trial period is over, even if you remove it, it leaves some markers (somewhere) and reinstalling will fail. I can't bring myself to purchase it - I do *not* support subscription-based software (purely on principle), and I think their asking price of 109 euros for an outright purchase is ridiculous, especially considering what they sell is sort of gray-market in some countries.

Do with this information what you will.

Why is there a concert tour 2000 picture inside? What is it?

I didn't find info about it. There is also pic of CDL0708 underneath, so maybe that's cards with with all DVD covers?

I didn't have plans to buy this DVD. But package looks stunning and both concerts are great, so I decided to give a try to a new middleman service which I didn't use and even seen before.

Some hours ago, Ayu YouTube channel uploaded "We are the queens" from the 25th live. But... It was an error xD! Ayu posted a history and she said that this video will be online at 18:00 with the daily Boys & girls live (Japanese time). I could see live before they deleted it and it looks amazing!!!

I agree, the camera angles are perfect but the vocal seemed too perfect like they literally just dubbed the studio version over it. I wish it was more “live”.

Afterall, I still love this performance so much!

I did, but considering my next travel is in Florida I will refrain myself from using a pink-leopard passport case ahah. I might use it to preserve my passport at home but I doubt I’ll use it in public.

I am glad nobody threw random things on stage in Japan.
For those who don't know, there is a trend going on that people throwing things to the stage and artists keep getting hit on stage. Pink got a bag of �� remains, Harry Style got hit one day, Bebe Rexha needed to go to hospital after someone throwing a phone to her face...

Why people buy tickets on their own money and act like this?..

It seems like thats a trend going on. They think it is fun. You can find many news covering this, especially the past few weeks.

That is only in western countries, I don't expect to see that happening in Japan.

It would be interesting to know how many of those are the box's set as it is sold for 3X the price of the normal concert.

WOW at those numbers, they are an improvement from the PIA MIA 24th Anniversary + CDL 21-22 which sold 6841 copies first week and even more than TROUBLE TOUR 2020 A ~Saigo no Trouble~" (6562).
I guess it's because the 25th, 30th, 35th etc anniversaries are considered more important than any other year.

also the tour helps with visibility

I also think This year concert was a step up compared to Pia arena and Saigo no Trouble.

I think it is fair to say that BD+DVD sales crossed 10k mark, which I think is really good considering the high price of this item and almost no promo at all - a friend said that they're not selling it at the tour venues, unfortunately..

so i watched the anniversary show yesterday, it was awesome, you could she was very excited and the crowd went crazy during the whole concert. I loved the rockish segment, even though her japanese audience considerably ignores it - alterna is one of the least streamed songs on (miss) album and from time to time she still performs it :love - I also loved what they did with the interludes, like mixing up some of her ballads to introduce the ballad section (did they do that before?), Lady Dynamite performance for me was dope and a fair decision to be the last song before the encore, it really adds up the energy needed after breaking a sweat.

one thing i didnt quite like were her outfits during some sections, i loved the first one - that its featured on the dvd/bd cover - but the others i dont know, most of the time i think it was lacking something, like her pink outfit, i just dont buy it.. anyway, i'll watch it again and maybe i'll change my opinion..

also, why dont they have bigger screens for this show? somehow i think that it was not easy for those sitting far from the stage to watch her self-expressions or any other details, i always remember how the Ultra Blue concert by Hikki had huge screens...

overwall id give this concert a 8/10

Glad you liked the show, I was in the crowd, there were few screens, one big in the middle and two on the sides I think, but they were sometimes use to show stage effects. The catwalk crosses the audience and it seemed well balanced in the arena.
