'A BEST' DVD cancelled [?]
 

I was browsing thru CDJapan's site and noticed that on the right side, it said this:

[release cancelled]

YesAsia still lists the release, but you can check out the link to CDJapan here,

i think maybe cause she will release a new single and (A museum) next month

Maybe it's a mistake? Because other Avex reissues (Do the Best, Every Best Single + 3) are still selling on CDJapan, and considering how A Best would probably sell better than the other reissues. o.O;;

Or maybe Ayu doesn't want to release A Best again for some reason. :think

if she were to release a single next month, I think the announcement would've been done already. All 3 of her singles this year have been announced at least a month in advance.

How well does DVD-Audio sell in Japan. If the ppl already have the CD version, then why does avex expect them to get this one as well. The format still isn't mainstream and there are very few standalone players/audio encoders for PCs that can handle DVD-Audio. To me, I think its just another way for avex to make more money and right now, its not a very good format for everyone at the moment. :shrug

This is strange 'coz Avex has yet to say anything on the A Best DVD A and the sites take down the listing.

i dunno... but i have this feeling... ever since 2003 that avex is tryin to kill ayumi... with stuff like this and that mini album.. even thought i'm ok with the mini album see many people unhappy

well im guessing that AVEX is trying to concentrate on Memorial Address(MA) right now. If Avex released A best -AB- (dvd) the same time/near the release date MA... people will prefer to buy MA than AB. A best will probably drop in the market and this mean waisting money.
Well im guessing AVEX is searching the right time.

ayu maybe hated A Best so much she doesn't want to release it again. That's good

id rather get A MUSEUM than dvdA version of A BEST anyway
