This song didn't grab me the way "Angel's Song" automatically did. But maybe I'll like it depending on the rest of the song. After all, I like "Because of You" and "Ourselves" now but if I only listened to the first 30 seconds of it, I probably wouldn't.

I like it very, very much. I think that it is a new style for ayu and one that is more alternative... A slow, meandering rock style. Hmm... I love the idea of her singing in other styles. If she keeps changing her style but still keeping the ayu-ish quality, soon she'll have sung everything! I really can't be happier with the idea that this is the new song. I think that it is great great great great great. This is my favorite new style in a long time. It's something that I can say I whole-heartedly am interested in!!

And i figured out what it is... ayu's just pronouncing things weird o_O like when she's saying "hana" at the very beginning, that isn't usually how she pronounces her "a" sounds. But in the broadband version you can hear her "i" sounds more clearly and those definitely sound like her. |

Why would Ayu be in a commercial with a song that's not hers? Has she ever done that?
Besides, Ayu's voice's changed a lot over the last few years. It used to be really high. Almost sounded nasal-ish. Now she sings lower. |
I agree with FancySN .... ayu's always been using her own songs in her commercial .. and i don't think they would've shown the name of the song if it wasn't ayu's song ...
and it DOES sound like ayu .. maybe just a different way of singing .. isn't this a good thing? anyway ...that's just what i think |
No, she hasn't allways used her own songs! In a Lumix CM, there is a song called Breathe, and that's not hers! So she could be using some other song in this CM too. But I really don't get how you guys can say it's not her. Anyone who is a fan of Ayumi, can easily hear it's her. Maybe she sings a duet or something, but I dont think so, becuause in all of her songs (as far as I know), she has put a "layer" with higher/lower pitch vocals on the instrumental, so that's why it sounds like two people. But I can't say I like this song, so far. But maybe the whole song is better. Angels Song was much better than the clip of it in her CM.

I'm sure it's Ayu. . . but the background vocals nearly overshadow her voice which makes it very hard to tell if she's really singing. If it is Ayu, she's using her nasal voice again just like she did in "+," "Greatful Days," and in "ANGEL'S SONG." If you listen to any of those songs and then listen to the commercial again, you can tell it's her voice in "Moments."
The song ("Moments") sounds like a combination of TO BE, End Roll, and SEASONS. Maybe D.A.I. composed it and D.A.I. + Naoto Suzuki arranged it! :D That would be great. |

I'm deadly sure that it's Ayu singing in the CM.
In 'Moments', it seems to me that Ayu attempted singing falsetto which, as far as I've noticed, she hardly ever sang in her previously songs apart from SEASONS. Since we're literally UNFAMILIAR with Ayu's falsetto, it's not surprising that some people tend to think the vocal in Moments doesnt sound like Ayu. |
hmmm, good point... it might be her singing falsetto... becuase I can here the ayu when she says nara... and the vibrato is sooooo ayu... but the voice... it truly sounds like a younger version of ayu... but I cleary can not say that it sounds like her... becuase it truly doesn't, save a couple of words and elongated notes : /

It really sounds alot like ayu to me. Just that she's singing with a more unique voice, but I see the point why some wouldn't think it's by ayu. We'll look forward and see if she'd release a song called moments XD

U can go to this website http://www.only-ayu.net/ayu/main.htm and download it. It's much clearer and u can hear ayu's voice more clearly.
