[2004] Favorite Band? (with a female lead)...
My favorite "female-led" j-pop/rock band would have to be....
Do As Infinity! :D :D :D Tomiko Van rocks! ELT would come 2nd... I think I would like TBG alot but I haven't heard too much of them... :( |
i dont know that manybands, but ELT are gud so am going to go with them

It's a pretty strong toss-up between buriguri, Do As Infinity, globe, and Dorikamu... i went with DAI for sentimental reasons. :)

Either Dreams Come True of the brilliant green. Dreams Come True was the first Jpop group I ever heard (I was 7yrs old!) and loved them while I absolutely enjoy the brilliant green.

Why isn't Tokyo Jihen on there? Even though they've only had 2 single as of now (can't wait for their album next week), my love for Shiina transfers over. Therefore, I'll have to pick other. Based on that list alone though...I'd pick ELT.

ELT and the brilliant green. DAI and dat have lost their touch, while I haven't listened to enough of Yoshida Miwa's voice to get into DREAMS COME TRUE's music. ZARD... depends, I guess. Sometimes Sakai Izumi hits it, sometimes she doesn't.
However, why aren't ZONE and Saegusa Yuuka IN db included there? The former is a all-girl band, mind you, and although the latter sounds like it's Yuuka and a solo project, it's actually a band, with Yuuka as the vocalist. Her band members are featured on the "egao de iyouyo" single cover. And GARNET CROW, how could you leave them out? =/ |

Do As Infinity without a doubt. Tomiko Van is awesome! I've never actually heard Every Little Thing, so I couldn't vote for them. I guess I should though, because many people seem to like them. I do like The Brilliant Green too though, but nowhere near as much as DAI.
