Ayu Made the list at Number 24. Halle Berry was No. 1 on the FHM Magazine singapore from in the year 2003 :)

I'd expect Ayumi to be in the Singapore and not USA simply because USA isn't concerned with completely foriegn artists. FOr example, a you can see i the US list those women are all famous models, actresses, and models tht are recongnized widely in the USA. Though some are less popular than others, they are all peopl that do their career in the US. I'm sure if it was an actual world wide thing, the list would be names that no one has ever heard of. And I bet Ayumi wouldn't even be on it, because to be honest and set aside all bias things in this forum, she is not the most attractive/beautiful woman out there. She only seems more attractive because sh is famous, much like Brittney Spears.

If Ayumi had 0 fame and popularity, would anyone here even think twice about her being so attractive? Probably not, not even if you have seen her in magaiznes, she would just be another hot Asian.

I mean why didn't FHM use people like Sky Lopez, Terra Patrick and Chasey Lain? All attractive women, famous for the adult film industry for being so hot.

But to wrap this up, basically fame only enhancers your looks to make that person seem far more beautiful and having "oh such a great personality" and all that other crap that goes on with all famous people. Victoria Secret models are pretty hot if you ask me and women who model frequently for Venus (I say frequently because I know that Ayumi was in a Venus magazine before). And about th "great personality" thing, it's true, take obsessed Brittney fans and watch th biasism and denial fly left and right, then take an Ayumi fan and watch the exact same thing "oh you don't know ayu she would never do that, you dont even understand her" gah...

First of all i'm amazed for you grate knowledge on Porn actress' but I have to tell you that 39. Jenna Jameson is on the list and she at least was a porn star, so don't say that the background on this popular ppl is an important factor, since they could easily have erased her for her porn-star-background; she may do other things nowadays but her past still present.

This is a list of celebretity's and popularity that's why she's on it. Sky, Terra and Chasey are not celebrity's nor are popular...

Salma Hayek who is mexican and Penelope Cruz who is spanish made it!! why couldn't ayu??? the three of them are celebrity's and popular the only difference is that ayu isn't known in the US.

Yeah, it would be odd for Ayu to make a list in the U.S. simply because the majority of people in the U.S. don't know who she is. It makes way more sense for a Singapore version, as they know Ayu there.

I still don't think she would be in the top 100 if it was an actual world wide survey. Simply because it's all about being famous. The more famous/well known you are the more attractive you may appear (granted that you are already physically attractive).

I've seen (and I'm sure many other people have as well) countless people hotter than th current "hottest women" out there live in person and their names are unknown. Yes Ayumi is really pretty but she is only pretty because she is that famous and well known so that her face is known. If all ultra attractive people were to be known by name by most people, they would overrun the top 100 chart in no time. Like I keep saying, it's all about how well known your face is that makes you stick out moreso than anyone else. Media dominates that factor.

Same here, those polls ain't accurate at all. If I hadn't remembered wrongly, Ayu used to be in top 10 in fhm about 2 years back with some singaporean artists (whom ain't sexy at all) above ayu (!!) O.O People vote for ppl they like not really considering if they're really that sexy
