Your Singing Range?

What's everyone's gender and singing range?I'm a guy, my voice has changed and I can sing from Soprano to Bass.I'm a lucky one. :yes
& I can't sing all the Bass or Soprano notes, at least note with good tone quality.

ayumi_pukka89 29th June 2004 01:19 AM

paper_doll 29th June 2004 03:39 AM

I can't sing :)

JimmyKoria 29th June 2004 03:46 AM

my singing range = a dead rat

=x I wish I could sing, I sing really loud though to annoy my dad. Too exciting.

leafyamazaki 29th June 2004 03:58 AM

My singing range... listen to Mika's "Hinotori," it's somewhere on that range...

FancySN 29th June 2004 08:25 AM

Uh. like. one octave. Ha. ha. It's really not funny, considering how horrible I am.

kournikova 29th June 2004 08:52 AM

im guy.. n i sing the bass-tenor :)

HanabiChick 29th June 2004 10:28 AM

I can't sing - I screech. I think... not sure what you'd call it...

Ayumi_Hamasaki902 29th June 2004 07:02 PM

My Singing range would have to be...well..people say I exactly sound like the person I'm singing as when I sing Japanese like Utada Hikaru, Ayumi Hamasaki, Riyu Kosaka.

Larisa-chan 30th June 2004 03:57 AM

I think I'm an alto-soprano... my voice is definitely not soprano, but it's not deep at all either. I can't sound soulful, that's for sure ^.^*** I can sing in the Maki Goto range, but my voice is higher than hers...

amanda loves u 30th June 2004 03:58 AM

sometimes soprano. sometimes alto.
I'm about like..Maaya Sakamoto.

Ayumi_Hamasaki902 30th June 2004 05:04 AM

I keep telling my friends that I don't sound like any of the people that I know how to sing the songs to. But yet they all insist that I do for some odd reason and I don't know why! -Shrugs-

gogirlanime 1st July 2004 05:19 AM

I sing really good actually... I wanna be a singer in Japan. I can sound like any artist I choose to, my voice can go really low and really high (female btw). I sound exactly like Ayu when I want to, I sang Forgiveness at my school's tallent show and won 3rd place.

PrismaticTears 1st July 2004 07:26 AM

When I've been practicing, I can go from Alto I to Soprano I with some tenor but I've been out of practice for quite some time so Soprano II at best right now. I can do some Soprano I right now but it won't sound pretty.

tl1029530921 1st July 2004 07:44 AM

my singing voice is WAAAAAAAAY lower than my normal voice....><...

CivicTr 5th July 2004 05:42 AM

Close to none or not that good at all.

PSYCHEDELICOdust 5th July 2004 05:58 AM

Guy - Baritone-Bass. I like singing, its one of my best abilities...

princess 17th July 2004 06:25 PM

i can't hit high notes...my voice is even lower than my mum...
and then i run out breath very easily..so when i go sing karoke with my friends... they can hear my me breath..which is quite embarassing...-.-

squirty 17th July 2004 09:04 PM

I'm a girl, &I can sing from Tenor I to Soprano I - basically, if you listen to LISA's voice, that's pretty much my range. It makes getting into All-State Choirs so much easier. =]

Surely it's falsetto. I doubt you can sing soprano...

I can sing baritone... and usually in public that's how I'll sing. Although my range is very limited.... I sing tenor at home.
It's higher and I like it better, but idk - its embarrassing. haha. :D

About the same ^^ But I would say an AMOST dead rat, you know, when the rat is still screaming awfully because it's about to dead?? I'm like that :yes

dCxAyumi1 18th July 2004 03:30 AM

i can sing...not the best, but i can sing..that's all i kno :P

bernardation 27th July 2004 06:12 AM

I can sing the high notes =D
I really like to follow mariah when i'm listening to her, heh.
I did singing classes =D

Ayumi_Hamasaki902 27th July 2004 06:16 AM

Yeah I actually try my best to sound exactly who I'm singing with so...It's not that hard to do Ayumi's unless your singing high pitched songs of her's like Still Alone, I am..., M, Evolution, and NEVER EVER. But Hikki's is a bit harder to deal with. And people are amazed at how much I sound like them when I sing. I also like to sing to Megumi Hayashibara. ^^

Camille 27th July 2004 09:19 AM

defenetly alto... when I was checking before it was about 3 and a half octave... quite nice

Kazuko 18th August 2004 08:46 AM

hmm.. i sing like crap XP

savage 18th August 2004 10:58 AM

cant sing at all >.<

kenkamken 29th August 2004 03:29 AM

im a chick...Err...I can impersonate someones high and low notes...yeah...cool ability, eh? AHha.

Namie 5th September 2004 08:41 PM

Singing is what I live for. Love to sing! When I sing I sound exacly the person I'm singing like Ayumi, Hikaru, Christina Mariah, whitney, stacie orrico, Namie Amuro and many other singers. Been taking singing classes since 6 years old.

Jonny 5th September 2004 08:53 PM

I just tested this out myself. I didn't have a chance to warm-up, but I would say my vocal range goes around two octaves, not factoring falsettos. It's about...a G right below middle C and spans to a C two octaves above.

baby_cinnamon 5th September 2004 10:17 PM

People say my singing range is like Maki Ohguro.
Let's Rock & Roll Baby!!! :P

Infinite Dreamer 7th September 2004 07:52 AM

Umm...last I checked my range was 3-4 octaves. But that was like 2 years ago. hehe...I actually thought I was an alto for a while but just a few weeks ago, a close friend of mine said I have a nice high range so...maybe I'm mid soprano? I dunno!!

mantis 7th September 2004 05:19 PM

I am a male and my vocal range is tenor to alto.

Sakura_Drops 14th September 2004 09:15 PM

How do you know if you sopranos or tenor or the other things??

Mirai Noah 15th September 2004 02:01 AM

My singing range is soprano-alto, but I'm not that great of a singer. ^^;

Ibitsu Kokoro 15th September 2004 04:30 AM

lower stuff. Can't do a lot of ayu songs because they are too high for me.

um.... do you actually know any American people who are singers in Japan? Just wondering....

*hearT_Place* 15th September 2004 05:19 AM

i sing alto, and my range is probably about 2.5 octaves

chunyan21 15th September 2004 04:03 PM

I'm probably an alto. My voice is closer to Hikki than Ayu. But I can sing high on a good day ^^

Everybody says I'm a good singer so I guess I'll take their word for it...

~K+ 15th September 2004 04:56 PM

My range is crap...

Well, basically I can't do the verses of most male songs, and I find female songs easy to sing. But I have no breath at all.

-BOKU- 15th September 2004 07:13 PM

I can sing exactly like Tomiko Van, so yay!

FancySN 16th September 2004 04:05 AM

I sing soprano.
