Hopefully Carols will be super amazing (or she'll have one more single that is) and it'll push her into the top 10 for something. It's going to be hard trying to beat such seasoned artists as SMAP, SAS, and Mr. Children though....

Wow, I remember when "Sekai ni Hitotsu dake no Hana" came out, and it was selling like crazy. So I had to hear it, and when I did... well, I like the song, but I don't know if it's that ridiculously great. And I haven't heard Hikki's song yet, but I've heard mixed things about it. I'm surprised people are buying the single so intensely with only 2 tracks.

I guess having a big name in both cases really helps.

The music was good, but the lyrics was fantastic

Larukus has more salews because it was released in the beginning of the year lol give some more time until INSPIRE beats it in the charts :P lol :yes

I just don't see how Orange Range, of all groups, is 5th. :dead2 I'm sorry if anyone here likes them, but I really really don't like them. Ayu should be way above them. :P

Hopefully CAROLS will be huge and Ayu can get farther up there...either that or a random surge in the sales of Moments or INSPIRE. :laugh

I think the reason 'READY STEADY GO!' is really high is because it was Laraku's first single after a 3 yr *I believe* hiatus and it was tied to the very popular 'Full Metal Alchemist'. Hmm 'INSPIRE' can still continue to climb! The one that really surprised me was Kou Shibasaki's 'Katachi Arumono' it's not that great of a single and it's really boring ^^;; and it was released latter than 'INSPIRE' too... I do like the song though just not as much as 'INSPIRE', guess her tie-in with Doramas is really helping in sales.

Out of those 20, Hirahara Ayaka's "Jupiter", Mr.Children's "tenohira / kurumi", and Kawaguchi Kyoko's "sakura", these three singles truly deserve the high sales. I'm surprised "Sign" sold more though, probably people came for the two B-sides but that single is just so-so. Hirai Ken's "hitomi wo tojite" is alright, guess that's all the noteworthy ones.

Jupiter deserved it.

And wow, Kou's sure if selling lot in a short period of time o_O'

SMAP, still haven't heard that song yet, but I can't believe it's selling this much, even if it's so old...

Sorry but I only ripped it at 128kbps, not sure if this quality is good enough for you.

Even though that's not the opinion of most initiates here in AHS, "Dareka no Negai ga Kanau Koro" was simply an amazing song and one of the best released this year in my opinion so I don't really get impressed for it selling that much.

Before I was in a bad mood so my opinion on the song was a bit mean, while still not amazing to me, it IS a good song....


And I'm depressed that INSPIRE sold more than Moments in less than a month....

It sold more because it was tied with extremely popular drama 'Orange Days' co-starring Kou Shibasaki and I forgot the male lead but I know Hiroki Narimiya :love is in it and we share the same B-day hehehe...

In the top 5 there are some singles released in 2003. And Inspire is released for just a month and is already so high, that shows Ayu is defenitely the best seller over there.

She needs a good drama tie-up to boost sales.

INSPIRE doesn't have any decent tie-up to help her to sustain in the charts in the long run...

on a side note: I'm digging all of Hikki's new sounds, eventhough many of ppl are not ready to embraced all her new and different styles, but like her, I like new things. All the songs are differents, but I'm love them all even the crazy Wonder 'Bout and that teeeny poppy Easy breezy, but all of them got attitudes (my favorite kind of music).

Well 'Sakuranbo' was her biggest hit to date...I think it'll probably be her peak too especially with how sales have been for all the artist lately, and like I've said before unless Ayu and Otsuka get some good tie-in's their not gonna sell that extremely well from how they are now.

And about Ayaka Hirahara, she looks a lot older than 18 though but she is really pretty and has an AMAZING voice. 'JUPITER' is a great song but my favorite of hers has to be her latest single 'Niji no Yokan'.

YEA! that drama is AWESOME! i'm watching it for the 2nd time around!

the male lead is the guy in my avatar + sig, called Satoshi Tsumabuki .

and that's why i absolutely love the theme song 'SIGN' as well. you guys would all understand if you watched the drama . so i'm not surprised that it's 2nd place so far.

Well Southern All Stars are one of Japan's most famous bands and go way back, plus their single was tied to the Olympics...unlike INSPIRE which was tied to a boring museum ^^;;. AYU GET SOME GOOD TIE IN'S!!
