Remixes -vs.- Originals
 

sry if this has been posted before..

anyways, i was wondering if anyone liked a remix of a song more than the original? Some examples would be:

I like 'The Implication Dub Remix' of Dearest more than the original.
I like 'Hal's Mix 2000' of Ever Free more than the original.

Just a thought :)

I don't usually find remixes "better" than the originals , they're just different and often completely different style of music.

But these remixes i find better than the originals in many ways :

P.S II "dubs kingship remix" (Ayu-mi-X II JPN) is better than the original P.S II , which is too noisy imo.

Vogue "Kirari Natsu Ayu mix" (Endless sorrow single) > original Vogue

Hmm I have a bunch...stuffs like remixed verson of You (Agressive mix) is better than the original You. This is what I can think of right now.

I like You Norther Breeze Mix better than the original.. And Daybreak H/\L's Mix is equal to the original for me. They are the only ones, I think.

i prefer H/\L's mixes of Fly High and Daybreak over originals..:)...oh..Hanabi ~episode II~ too.

i like the who... remixes better than the original :yes esp. the blue obsession mix!

I like the Evolution Remixes, M remixes, UNITE! Remixes, and Real Me Remix also the Naturally Wippenburg remix! I like a lot more better than the originals but those are the only ones that I can think of right now!

I despise remixes, originals are the best. I only have a few worthy remixes.

i'm not particularly fond of the remixes from the ayu-mi-xes but i love trance and eurobeat ^^;;

I'm a stickler for the originals. Whereas, I do like some of the remixes a lot, I can't really compare them to the originals.

mostly i simply think the originals are better, at least with the ayumi ones... not when it comes to other music coz theres a lot from which i can say that i like the remixed tracks better but with ayu i stick with the originals =)

I used to basically ALWAYS like the remix better, it's why I got into Ayumi in the first place, but now I don't know, I can't say that they are better...just another style.

I like the remixes of We Wish better than the original, but that's about it. The originals are wonderful in their own right IMO.

I don't like the original much at all but I love most of the remixes. :yes

I like the originals better, but the remixes are enjoyable to listen to too.

both of them are equal.... sometimes the remixes are too overpower n so do the originals ^^ :D

for aov, i think voyage (aov) is better than the original cos the into is shorter, hence i can listen to it more times within a certain time period

HANABI "Electrical Bossa Mix" is better than the original one

I like the Svenson and Gielen remix of Depend on you better.
I also like most D-Z remixes better than the originals. They should do all her remixes :)

Remixes are pretty awesome, though I wouldn't say they're any better or worst than originals (though there have been some which I'd rather not admit its existence :b) One thing that's really great about remixes though, is the mood of the music contrasting the mood of the lyrics, like one of the ballads mixed as a fast upbeat version, those are always nice na.

actually audience (hals mix 2000) is better than audience cos it is more uplifting and banging than the original

Basically I find remixes much more entertaining, different, better made, more suspenseful, and more interesting.
