Yuko is definitely a cute girl, but she should have just stayed a model and not become a singer. Her voice is not good at all. She even said that herself when her first single debuted. Well, at least she knows.

I decided to give her another chance the other day, so I downloaded the DVD that came with her album. It was terrible. Not only can't she sing (It hurts my ears to listen to her), she can't PERFORM either... she just stood there in her PVs, she didn't even make any facial expressions, it was like watching a doll. She should really stick to modelling, she's a very cute girl, but she just doesn't have any talent at all in the singing field.

Did I mention she was cute, but?

now my small review and comments about this DVD

Overall this is quite a nice DVD... it has all of Yuko's PVs plus the ''making of'' for each PV. The menu is nice looking and easy to follow you can choose to Watch the whooole DVD or you can watch only the PVs without the making, or the LIVE and as the background picture they used pictures 5 and 6 from the booklet I posted above (the first line of pictures).

The ''Making of'' are really cool cause Yuko appears talking in some of them and for her first PV they show some footage of her in the studio recording and choosing who knows what!! (like some sort of pictures) and talking with the ppl there.

All the PVs are really cool and she looks really nice in all of them. It was a surprise to me to see ''Onna no Ko Otoko no Ko'' and also ''Encounter'' on thise DVD (i didn't know it had them)

From all of Yuko's PVs ''encounter'' wich is a beautiful ballada, shows a more mature and more sexy YUKO than the others who goes for the cute yuko look.

Encounter the PV i's set in a green bathroom and she's all dress in green... yuko appears singing infront the mirror, walking down the street and in a balcony. Totally different from what she released before. This PV reminded me of Koi no shubiduba cause it has also flowers and a main color through out the PV is green.

Then comes the SECRET LIVE wich totally rocks! Yuko sings the songs I mention before wich I wasn't sure I liked... but after watching yuko perform I FELL IN LOVE with her songs all over again! :P (i specially loved daijoubu).

She switches outfits like 4 times going from ''glamorous Yuko'' to ''cute yuko'' and ''then Sexy yuko''. Also to me surprise the yuko that perfomes LIVE in TV is not the same as the one on concerts not only she does not have the omg-I-don't-know-what-I'm-doing-here-so-i'll-act-like-i-don't-know-what-i'm-doing-Look!!!!! but she can dance! and she moves really good!! she even has 2 back up dancers and yuko dances along them.

Also yuko talks to the Audience and in ''yume no enikki'' she brings with her a little cart filled with ballons and stuff signed by her and throws them at the audience!! :P

Then after the LIVE is over, there is a ''Making of'' wich shows Yuko streching and doing excercise, also learning the steps with the coreographer and some cam tests.... :P


Now the nasty stuff I found
1. i wanted to see real footage of yuko in the pink dress! and all i got was yuko at the studio! biiiiiiiiig disapointment :( (for me at least)
2.Yuko lipsinck all the songgsssss!!! :( so it's not an actual ''LIVE''... well... actually this is not totally true cause it's like her first song is lipsinck the for the second song i couldn't tell.... and the third it was a mix of real voice and lipsinck and this goes for the rest of the songs... One of her songs, the music STOPS and the real yuko statrs to sing (that was cool) and for the the last song ''Real yuko'' and ''album yuko'' sing together.
3. That's it! :lol:

so.. to sum-up if you are a HARDCORE YUKOFAN this is a MUST BUY! it has all of Yuko's PVs plus the ''making of'' for each of the PVs and the super LIVE wich is really uplifting. The ''Making of'' are not short except for 2 but they are well put together. And the Menu is simple but it has those nice functions I mention above. So ask your dad for his credit card or wathever go to CDjapan or YESasia and order it ASAP u won't be dissapointed!
