Thoughts on ARENA TOUR 2004...
 

I just finished watching it, downloaded off BT...

It's not as bad as I thought... It had its good performances and bad ones, if you liked A MUSEUM though you'll probably like it... Most of the songs she performed on A MUSEUM and on this tour sound EXACTLY the same, which kinda sucks. But I thought her vocals were nice in the songs she performed from M.A. 'ANGELS SONG' and 'Memorial Address' were excellent performances. The costumes and band were good. I just wish it wasn't so much like A MUSEUM.

My Overall Rating: 6.5/10

Teddy Bear + Memorial Adress were AMAZING. They made me want to cry. ;___;

I wish she had recorded Teddy Bear like that for A Ballads.

I just skimmed through the rest of the concert...I'm waiting for my DVD to come since that DVD rip is HORRIBLE.

Wow I havn't watch it yet..I need to go dl it..:P

i watched the whole thing from beginning to end and just finished. the vocals i thought were pretty good. sometimes she made her voice sound odd, but it was strong throughoug the concert, as i cant stand it when she croaks, haha. the whole arrangement of the performance was a bit boring fo rme, i liked last years arena tour a lot better. overall, i guess a 6-7/10. i loved the tracklist, it just kind of bored me, the set was nothing interesting.

LMAO it was hilarious when the clown started smacking Yoshio during UNITE! :roflmao

Hmm I just watched it though Because of You..and so far I love her peroframnce in thsi concert..the Teddy Bear and Memorial Address part is probably the best part.....and yes I think in this concert she has the best vocals overall....I will continue to finish this sometimes..

i forgot to add this... the only thing i did not like of the concert were the back up singers again,,, like in a museum -_-

im sorry, but i disliked this concert very much. She wasn't very well in some songs, and A Museum was more fun and "into it", i didn't like the anime voice she used at times on old songs but i guess she was trying. Peco totally messed up the vocals too, SURREAL didn't sound like SURREAL anymore

Mine finished yesterday too... I'll probably buy the DVD for it:) But the thing i liked the MOST, was her dancers Adidas-pants (under Angels Song) they were SOOOO cool!! I really want those lol... Im going to Adidas Factory outlet (which is luckily just 10 minutes away from where I live) to see if they have those pants there... yay!!

well i like all of the concerts
i am goind to buy it..

Teddy Bear and Because of you really smashes with my emo' I love it. She still gives out strong concert performances.

I watched it yesterday ahaha I gotta say that :

-Her Memorial address performance was perfect!!! I got goosebups when I saw it, you could even think she was lipsynching but obviously she wasn't as she gasps and stops singing a part of it when she starts crying.
-Her ANGEL'S SONG performance: the song was spoiled. the tempo of the song was not right and I think because of that ayu vocals slipped a bit. The dancing and thematic was cool though.
-I loved her Greatful days outfit, the coolest one she wore!!! Not to mention the GD performance was excellent!
-Her Real me performance was excellent and flawless, she sang it perfectly and even danced exactly like in the PV.
-Moments sounded like the studio track. The la la las were perfect
-Unfortunately I was not too pleased with the No Way To Say performance...seemed to lack a bit of emotion....they rearranged the instruments and her voice was a bit weird.
-Fly high, UNITE! Trauma, independent - unfortunately it is already time for her to remove those songs off of her concerts, it's getting repetitive.
-eww those clowns had too much details in my opinion.....

In my opinion I thought this was a very good concert with a lot of good stage effects. One of the reasons why I liked this concert was because of the teddy bear and Memorial address performances.. they were amazing.

I thought her song selections could've been better.. but overall her vocals were great and it was a good concert. :)

since i've never listened to teddy bear before.. when i heard ayu perform it... she gave me a very good impression of that song :D

bought it yesterday, the concert was WOW AMAZING, ourselves was really good, better than the original one
and oh don't forget the OUTSTANDING performance of teddy bear & Memroial address, i got goosebumps then, it's so touchy
her encore performances are also ROCKS, and there are several funny things happened in the concert, like in the rehearsal [when ayu's dancing ourselves with the dancers], and the clown that's trying to hit yoshio :lol, also when she taught the audience to do the independent routine, her voice is so CUTE!
and as i said the encore ROCKS, Moments was WAYY better from the single version and it went good all the way to the end

the ending was pretty dramatic too, when she screamed 'arigato gozaimashita' without the mic, i was just...stunned-speechless

this concert is one of ayu's best concert i've watched!

I bought it a week ago and I think,,IT'S A WOW!!!!! The opening was just amazing! The songs were sang nicely, but the outfits are quite strange (esp. the No way to say one..). Hey,one question, why is the sound is rather quite not as loud as it used to be??

you think it's strange? i think it's beautiful, it's similar to the 'forgiveness' costume in A MUSEUM,
but i think the forgiveness costume is better

ayu sang No way to say much better here in ARENA TOUR 03-04 than the original one, the beat was just perfect... too bad her voice wasn't as perfect

overall this concert is one of her BEST!
