Raleigh 2nd November 2004 12:24 PM

there is a certain similarity...

Cyria 2nd November 2004 12:37 PM

With the black dress and that hairstyle, yes. I love Audrey and though I wouldn't want Ayu to try looking like her that often, it was nice to see her in something similar to Audrey's gorgeous Breakfast at Tiffany's style.

Corybobory 2nd November 2004 06:50 PM

Exact replica. I was like hey, where's her long cigarette thingy?

~ayu-cake~ 2nd November 2004 07:05 PM

Thats the first thing i noticed about the CM, how much Ayu looked like Audrey Hepburn

ohsixthirty 2nd November 2004 07:12 PM

Yeah...there's a huge similarity! I didn't put it together with Audrey Hepburn, but you're right! That CM is very...film noir I think. I really really like the style and feel of it, I wouldn't mind at all to see Ayumi with this style more often.

shinji1698 2nd November 2004 07:24 PM

isnt it true that the japanese culture admires audrey?

HanabiChick 2nd November 2004 07:30 PM

I thought of styles from 50s, never thought of Audrey Hepburn.

JimmyKoria 2nd November 2004 09:11 PM

Hepburn is so cute =\ er...was. It wouldnt amaze me if the style was inspired by hepburns outfit.

Audrey Hepburn was &is a very famous Belgian actress. She was a huge icon back in her day &is considered the classic beauty. Wonderous actress she is; she starred in Breakfast at Tiffany's &My Fair Lady, along with many more. She's a fantastic lady.

Larisa-chan 3rd November 2004 02:21 AM

wow! Ayu really does look like Audrey, from that Audrey pic...

Kazuko 3rd November 2004 03:04 AM

somewhat... i guess *shrugs*

Corybobory 3rd November 2004 03:08 AM

I honestly think that was the resemblance they were trying for in the CM

ayuchanfan 3rd November 2004 03:10 AM

Everyone <3 Audrey

maiyoya 3rd November 2004 04:19 AM

oh, I don't think so

Zesty 3rd November 2004 04:23 AM

Ugh. I wish Ayumi could start up her own image.

CREATE 3rd November 2004 05:03 AM

well, it kinda looks like audrey hepburn

but somehow i think that ayu looks better than her...

kournikova 3rd November 2004 07:59 AM

yes! maybe... 60%

gakkun 3rd November 2004 11:28 AM

You know I don't think Ayu is 'copying' exactly...it's more like, I don't know, paying tribute?? It's just like how so many people have 'copied' Marilyn Monroe's white dress and that pose.

//hikari 3rd November 2004 08:31 PM

Audrey Hepburn emulates what women today find to be sexy and beautiful. She helped in the movement to show that women are sexy and should show their figures (like she's done in many dresses she's worn).

I don't necessarily think it's copying but I do think of it more as a tribute to her era and to what she did for the female population.

Hugo_Perry 4th November 2004 12:57 AM

Hmmm... I dun't really think that Hamasaki Ayumi is tryin' to copy. Well... Even she did i think it's OHMEHGOSHER it's freakin' awesome! :luv2
