Yeah, she just seems like an Ayumi fan if anything. It's probably more of a compliment to Ayumi than anything, so we shouldn't get too upset. :D

I wouldn't care less if Jolin was a fan of Ayu or not. I hate the fact that she copies Ayu. She should be herself, her own person, with her own style and own personality. Instead of copying Ayu, get your own style. It's not because you admire someone that copying would be flattering.

I whole-heartedly agree with you. She needs her own style. It's like she's saying "I want to be as popular as Ayu, so I'm going to dress and do things just like her so I can maybe be that popular *giggle*"

She has the EXACT same dress as ayu in that picture..the white dress.

It really bugs me. And that's all I'm saying becaue this thread keeps coming up and getting people angry.

Maybe you don't quite grasp the meaning of the statement, i wouldn't know because i'm not in the position to tell. The point behind the saying is to say that if someone did admire someone, then by copying would show that the person mimicking would really like to be the person their imitating. Which, to an extent, means that the person being imitated should be flattered because someone wants to be just like them.

Besides, these threads keep popping up, and its doing nothing but bashing poor Jolin. I'm beginning to feel sorry for the girl because so many people have become anti-jolin because of these threads all because someone thinks that all hell broke loose because someone copied.

Big deal. You'll learn to get over it.

ok this can't be another "coincidence". Look at the background of these cd covers and what jolin is wearing. AYu set the flower treand and wears white dresses when she performs carols. why is jolin copying all the time..?

There are similarities, but we should just let it go. We can't really do anything by saying "Copycat!" or "OMG! They're so much alike!". Even if we did, I doubt they'd (ppl in charge of designing the covers and such) really listen to us.

Well I'm sure people are sick of hearing Jolin copying Ayu are going to post and complain on this topic and make hypocrites of themselves by saying that we should all let it go - because they also continue to keep the post alive.

It IS interesting to see all of the pictures and compare them.

No, she's not copying Ayu's Carols cover theme and such threads are getting a little tedious. It's not a real problem, but they do tend to encourage negative posts.

The simillarities are not in the CM. It is in the background of the website. Ayu's website had the same background before MY STORY was released.

For people who tink jolin wears similar to ayu coz she's a big fan of ayu, I don't think this is true >.< She's appearing on tv so much that I see her more often than I see ayu on tv, in two interviews I've seen, the first one they ask who her idol is and I thought she may say ayu but she mentioned britney spears because she likes her style of performing and in the next interview, she switched idol to madonna and said she wish to be a strong performer like madonna. As much as I would like to hear jolin say that she likes ayu, I never heard Jolin said she was an ayu fan at all :headache
