Thoughts on "Walking Proud"? ;.;
 

::sniffles:: such an emotional and powerful song... makes up for "my name's WOMEN" the second half of the song is just.. wow. So breathtaking! Shivers ran through me when I listened to this song ;.; When I thought she was going to repeat the chorus twice in a row near the end of the song, she BELTS out this amazing variation of it <3 <3 <3 <3 An absolutely beautiful ballad with synthesizers and orchestral instruments. Can't wait to hear the lyrics~~ I never cry listening to Ayu songs, but this one was close...

Okay. This song is nice. Yay. (I'm in a cynical mood.)

It's sounds alot like 'No way to say' in terms of arrangment, but that doesn't matter. I think it's a good song, I like it.

The only of the leaked songs so far that didn't have something that annoyed me. And as Larisa said, great that there's a bridge right at the end!

Now I hope it has better replay value than CAROLS. o_O'

Her vocals are really clean! I couldn't really feel the instruments because of the quality of the file though.

Most of the song isnt that great, but I like the chorus, and the ending chorus.

The song is really good, but the verse doesn't seem to connect properly with the chorus. Now that I think of it, it's the same thing for About You and My name's women. It seems like they composed the chorus first then tried to paste the verse on it.

Overall, a great song!!! Moments-Carols-Walking Proud...Great combination.

I -really- like this one.

Probably nobody will see where I'm coming from with this, but something about it reminds me of "Who..." although I'm not quite sure why. I guess just because it's got such a beautiful melody, and Ayu puts a -lot- of emotion into it. I love it. <3

I'm still waiting for a song that has a bridge though! I'm still downloading Liar...but -every- song so far has had an instrumental filler where many songs would have a vocal bridge. This doesn't at all count against walking proud, though, because it's good enough besides and really can do without one. But About You could really use a bridge...and Moments... o_o

But back to the point, I really really do like this track. It's quite beautiful. I can't wait for a lyrics translation. <3

her singing in this song is so emotional and a powerful which i agree with Larisa
waa...walking proud...i guess this will be my first album that i will LOVE every single
songs..or most atleast from what i heard

While I definitely don't think it's her best song by any means, I really like it. I was pretty neutral to it during the CM and thought it would be dull, but then with the 30 second preview I fell in love with the melody progression. And I think I expected something different than this, but I don't mind because I still like it a lot. I can see myself getting sick of it after a while, but so far I'm happy with it.

It's really, really beautiful. It really should have been a single (I think it's a LOT better than CAROLS..), because her vocals are really nice and the music works well. The chorus is just.. wow. :clap-clap

Wow. This was a very clean song, and I really did enjoy it. I can safely say I like it more than CAROLS, but the jury's still out on whether it's better than Moments. ^^; I really enjoyed the composition and arrangement on this song. I just hope that the lyrics will hold up!

Although I still can't decide much about this song, I CAN say that I'm really anticipating the PV for this. I think it has the chance to just be great.

I thougt the opening sounded like BoA's "KONO YO NO SHIRUSHI". O_O

It's a pretty good song, nothing that wows, like the other songs that have been leaked, but it's still stamped all over with Ayu's mark of quality. Gives me more to look forward to for "My Story" since I wasn't that impressed with the sample clips.

you're totally right! when i was waiting for a repeat of the chorus again, i was very surprised when she manipulated the last part! chills crawled thru my spine. she sang extremely well... i wonder if the live one sound just as good. it's quite an easy song.

it was way better than i expected it to be. cuz i'm not a big fan of ballads. but i liked how the whole song flowed together. and her vocals are great! i like the emotion at the end. this may be one of my fave songs on the album.

Indeed this song is very powerful. I really like it. Although i don't know the lyrics to the song, i feel somewhat inspired by it. This, by far, is my most favorite song in the album. And shivers ran through my spines too! :D lol

Lovely. I was starting to think I might not be able to enjoy the album because my expectations were too high, but this song doesn't disappoint. If it wasn't up against Moments I wouldn't hesitate to call it the album's best song. As it is, it's among my favourite Ayu ballads now and I've a feeling this love will last.

This song doesn't lead into the chorus correctly ... I was listening and all of the sudden the chorus starts .. o.O .. It sounds a hell of a lot like No way to say thus far due to certain sounds used.

This is probably the better of the leaked songs .. which isn't saying much.

I can tell by far. this is my favorite track....*melts* (is going to sound abit cheesy) Something about the song went right through me that made me want to just...cry and melt into a puddle of goop! I am sooooooo touched by this BEAUTIFUL ballad. ;_; *wipes tear* and reading the lyrics..well..that totally just pushed me into the spot. I love it. will be one of my favorite song. and I know it. Emotional wonderful song. Her ending varitation of the chorus blew me away. I was just like squealing "PRETTY~~!!!" and kinda pounding my keyboard. XD please please please don't let the pv dissapoint me like CAROLS did. the pv didn't meet CAROLS's potential. Please hope this one will make me melt again. T_T
