i used to be a big fan of them~! aii just thinking back the old times and even now i ask my friends if they used to like them and everyone was like omg who didnt like spice girls back then :rolleyes

probably the ones who didnt like them are people like my brother who gets sick of all the female spice girl fans....

yep im ashamed to say that when i was a little girl i really liked them - i liked posh spice the best lol and i hated ginger spice haha

i like them too. i like baby spice the most simply because she is the cutest. haha. i didn't like Scary spice. she just lives up to her label. Scary

Yeah. i really liked them back then. i don't think im ashamed or anything. im a guy now 21, so u guess how old i was back when they were good. great stuff for the younger teens. now its kinda recently the harder rock-ier music has risen to reach into the younger teens.

I was a big Spice Girls fan around 1997. I was in just the right age group for them. I'm feeling pretty nostalgic for those times. Sure, they were manufactured but at least they didn't pretend to be serious art unlike the fake rockers today. They were bright and fun and had catchy pop songs.

I didn't really have a favourite Spice, they were all pretty equal when it came to how much I liked them. I actually used to say Posh was my favourite because I felt sorry for her; no one in my circle liked her. My, how things have changed. At the moment I'd say Baby's my favourite, thanks to her great new album. I was very pleasantly surprised by how good the songs were.

Favourite song? Who Do You Think You Are, or maybe 2 Become 1.

Favourite music video? Say You'll Be There. In a way I think the Spice Girls were all about dress-up and easily recognizable types (they're still referred to by their nicknames as often as their real ones). This video plays with that idea nicely.

I wasn't really into them, like I didn't buy their CDs or anything, but I had friends who thought I was truly bizarre for not doing so. All my friends had posters and all sorts of strange Spice Girls stuff, and when the movie came out... I just kind of hid for a while. No offense to them, they were pretty awesome, but I'm just not a huge huge fan.

hmm... im the first to vote negatively... I remember that when i was still in elementry school.. pff.. must be 10 years ago.. that all boys were into Spice girls, and all girls into backstreet boys... but i was never one of them

I was into them. Actually, at first I wasn't but my sister made me listen to 'Spice' and it just sucked me in to spice fandom. ^^;
I didn't have their early singles, but I did have their 2nd (Spiceworld) and 3rd (Forever) albums, and the Asian edition of their 'Goodbye' single.

I used to really like them back then. I still listen to their music occassionally.

I used to be a fan of theirs. Baby used to be my favorite because she was just so adorable! (plus, her dresses were cute, too). I'm pretty sure all of them are still up to stuff: Geri is a goodwill ambassador (dunno if she gave up on her music career), Mel C had some pretty big dance hits, Mel B did some Broadway (I saw her in RENT. She seems really sweet, and she was better than I expected), Emma did some music (and was most recently on VH1's "I Love the 90s), and Victoria is an icon for Japanese girls, still sings, and did modelling (plus, being married to Becks can't be a bad thing).

Yeah, i was a huge fan. I knew their dance move, watched the Spice Girls movie, bought those candies and lollipop that gave tons of Spice Girls stickers. I was crazy.

I had so many memories lost...my parents banned me from the Spice Girls when they saw something Scary Spice was wearing at a televised concert (?). I think it was a see-through top or something. But I do remember sneaking and watching the movie at a friends house three years ago...it was interesting. Reminded me of a crazy version of Josie and the *****cats.

All I remember is the boot camp scene... and when they sang in the diner... and there was a bomb in the bus or something... I don't know, that was a looooong time ago.

I'm pretty sure everyone liked the Spice Girls. I remeber in grade 5-6 there were talent shows and everyone was performing "Stop!" It was hella annoying, but hey, they were the spice girls.

I still watch Spice World on occasion. it's funny cause the plot was lame. i still listen to the spice girls whenever i feel nostalgic or need a good laugh.

so what happened to the spice girls anyway? I remember geri leaving and that was pretty much the end of their short career.

I liked the Spice Girls when I was in middle school. It seems like so long ago... Viva Forever was my favorite song for awhile! Their songs were really catchy and fun.

I used to LOVE them too. I like their songs until today, I have their CDs, some singles, VHS and lots of stuff. I love Emma's Solo Carreer too, she's WONDERFUL.

They're okay... I liked the songs, but I wasn't really a fan; don't have any cd's etc. I was more into the Backstreet Boys in that time.

They were supposed to reunite for the Live 8 charity concert, but Mel B refused to rejoin. Geri released a press statement saying that she and the other three really wanted to do it, so she's very sad that it won't happen.
They are supposed to release a greatest hits album next year to commemorate the 10 year anniversary of their first single, Wannabe. No confirmation, though. Just news stories.

I really loved the spice girls. They introduced me to pop music.

According to MTVe, the Spice Girls will be reuniting (including Geri!!!) this year and will be going on a world tour. And in addition, they will be releasing a 'best of' album.

Mel C said she doesn't have any plans to be a spice girl again. In Live 8 she would love to do it because it was a charity show and everything, but she doesn't want to return because of money and fame.. Nor Mel B, I think, as now she lives happy like a "normal" person in L.A. o.o
