oh. i thought it was the british band The Sundays having a new single. They used to be my favourite band 7 or 8 years ago. They only released 4 singles since 1988, and the latest album wsa released in 1997. When I thought they were releasing a new single, I alsmost had a heart attack!

lol, YesAsia had it up as NO-NO BOY most recently so...well...its a close sounding title XD

I was kind of surprised when her debut single didn't even touch the charts. I like "Rira no Kataomoi" very much, personally. The arrangement is great, and the melody is very sweet. Her voice isn't mind-blowing or anything, but Sunday is definitely more vocally talented than a lot of singers in Japan now. She seemed to disappear and do a lot of radio since then, and I think she did some work for SM Entertainment in Korea (I think she appeared on SM Town Summer Vacation 2004). So I'm glad to hear she's getting a second shot this year.

EDIT: A 30 second preview of "Usotsuki BOY" was put up on Sunday's official website! It's REALLY good, I'm in love with it. I really hope this does it for her; the song is really catchy. m-flo is great, and a big name, so I have a good feeling about this single. Check it out!

Hmm... I just realized Sunday's new single is coming out on April 20. That's the same day Ayu's next single is rumored to be dropped. Sunday's first single came out on July 28, the same day INSPIRE was released. I wonder if this is a concious effort on Avex's part? I don't know why they'd do that, unless to attract Ayu fans over to Sunday as well (i.e. Ayu Fan #987324B goes to get Ayu's new single on the release date, and sees Sunday's new single there also...?). It just strikes me as strange that Avex would have a struggling artist drop a single on the same day as their number one seller. If Ayu Fan #987324B only has the 1000 yen or whatever for 1 single... I'm pretty sure they'd buy Ayu's and not Sunday's.

It all depends on the fans. If they like both Ayu and Sunday, then I'm sure they'll get Sunday's single as well.

Wow. I just watched the PV on that bestyz streaming site, and I actually really liked the song. At first I thought it would suck while I was watching it, but then it just popped out of no one and surprised me. :D

Agreed. As for me, haven't heard anything except the preview, but I'm still pre-ordering it along with Ayu's new single.

all i got to say is wow!!! this song is out of this world it is not generic it sounds a little bit like melody and BoA. It is great MFLO produced this single lol it did nothing but good for her she just needed some good producers behind her it is funny how she is under the SM Label too in Korea it is strange lol and she does resemble BoA alot!!

AVEX feels Sunday can stand on her own and it is an excellent way to attract Ayumi fans to her because she has the same cuteness Ayu had when she came out.Sunday might do well this time around they haven't given up on her yet lol. Sunday can do this if she is promoted right lol
