Ayu's REAL look
 

I've been thinking about this for a while so why not.. Every picture I see of Ayu, shes loaded in makeup, or in some $6,000 dress or advertising in space and stuff. One minute shes got long hair, the next she has short, next its green and red then she looks older then younger, then her boobs are huge then theyre not :innocent

What ios her REAL look? Does she have any picture of her just like.. laying around at home? You know like a natural snapshot? People ask me what she look like and I have no idea how to answwer that, I end up saying "she looks different every time"...

A few years back when I first started listening to her music, I was so utterly confused by all the looks that I really had to think about whether or not it was really her. Now I'm just used to the extravagance.

Anyway, I personally haven't seen any pics of her being "normal". They'd be interesting, though.

Wait, I was also thinking, a lot of times if you look at backstage pictures of the "making of" segments for some of her PV's you can see her there in normal clothes and without all the make up.

Yeah, when i think of REAL Ayu, i think of the pics from A Life, and then the odd pictures you see of her.

Just had to say this, but i can honestly say, i've never seen a pic where her boobs are huge?

This reminds me of the "Mystery of Britney Spears' Breasts" from liquidgeneration. btw, ayu is attractive in her own way, but never the boobs lol.

Mmm if you have her concert DVDs, you can watch the backstage clips (like the one from Arena Tour '02) where ayu is in casual clothing with no makeup.
She looks the same, just a lot younger and like how she used to look when she was a swimsuit model.

I once saw a picture of Ayu with no makeup.. and she looked really bad.. her face looked like it had little scars from you know how people get when they pick at a pimple too much and they get those dips in her skin?.. not sure if that was a real picture or an edit.. but .. it was awful..
of course, I can't find it anymore.. because the site it was on it gone..

hmm for the past few months she always seem to be in juicy couture suits when she's not on cam. look at the making of carols (she rolled up her pants to run with her doggies..pretty relax and 'normal' if u ask me..and she was chewing happily on bbqed food), game and inspire. thats the normal her. even off camera she's still pretty glam. or take the recording of rainbow.

Yeah I think she's pretty naturally too. I sometimes think she makes too much make up sometimes.

i've seen her backstage without any makeup and i think it syill looks alright~

Actually, in A Book and even in the backstage things, she is still wearing make-up, although it's not the extent that we see when she's actually performing. She almost always has eyeliner and mascara on, especially when she knows it's gonna be marketed for her fans.

With Asians, it's easiest to tell whether or not the girls are wearing make-up is if the outside corners of the eyes look darker or blotchy.

With makeup or not, wearing big fashion brand or not, she's still amazing. It's rare seeing a celebrity without makeup that actually looks good. And when Ayu wears a simple t-shirt and jeans, that's when she looks the best in my opinion. I love her personal style.

Ayu is getting less and less popular in Japan, so there are a lot of rumors floating around about her. EVERY Japanese friend I talk to (I only have about 9 or 10 Japanese friends) has heard that she has had plastic surgery. I'm sure that there are tons of people who refuse to believe it because they're obsessed fans, but if you compare pictures of her from her younger days and now, you can definitely tell something is just different in her face. Of course she's gotten older, and no one has proof that she has gotten surgery. But, at the same time, no one has proof that she HASN'T had plastic surgery either!

I just think it's odd that all my Japanese friends agree that she has had it.

She's still cute w/o make-up but I agree that she looks older/tired without it. It probably has to do with the fact that she doesn't get much sleep (it's her own choice, I think) and because we're used to seeing her all made-up and without any wrinkles or imperfections.

Mascara makes the eyes appear much wider :P
However, stars don't wear make up when they are at home. I mean .. jeez, I like laying around the house in PJ's and no make up on and it's relaxing.
Celebrities are distreet when not wearing make up, well, maybe in Japan. but it's always nice to have something on when you go out. You have to be presentable to people. If I'm lazy to do anything before going out, I at least brush my teeth, hair and put foundation on.

Anyhows, it's kinda funny to see some stars without make up. The public eye is so used to seeing them all glammed up that it's quite a shock :laugh

Maybe they put so much make-up on Ayu sometimes, it ends up making such a difference. Plus.. photoshopping. :cool Anyways, I think that without make-up, Ayu looks a lot like the young model Ayu.

She may look so drained out because of the light form the camera. that's why they put make-up on actors and actresses so they don't look like ghosts.

duuude that picture of those made-over girls... so messed up. It makes you think.. could this be a sin since they're basically ruining the way God made them? I mean,.. simple plastic surgery is not that bad, even though i don't agree with it. but if you're gonna get a nose, ear, cheek, eye, lip, bust, and butt job, she's just a messed up girl and is extremely insecure. I think girls look jsut fine if they know how to present themselves. It gets me mad how the world always tells them the only way to be beautiful is to do this or do that, yknow? It's friggin rediculous. Am i wrong?

I agree. I'm not happy with the way I look all the time, but hey I'm not gonna go change things, you know? ..no one looks at me anyways.. lol
