.. no offence.. i find them.. especially the main dude.. and i'm not sure if its the same dude, but the dude in the beginning that was trying to kiss one of those womens in the table with nerdy ayu.. well i just think they look gay to me =)

Most of those guys were dancers from her Countdown Live 04/05 concert. There's one guy wearing WAY too much eyeliner, and that's Gomi, who has been her dancer ever since the beginning. The main guy who looks feminine is named Shuuya, and there's also two more that I recognized named Michiharu ("Mitsu" for short) and Naoto.

Countdown Live 04/05 is one of my all time favorite Ayu concerts, so I know all the dancers from there really well!

Very simple minded (read: stupid) assumption and stereotype.

And the whole emo reference is just a bit.. off? I didn't see the dancers wearing little "punk" band shirts, pyramid belts, and dickies. The eyeliner was merely a part of the presentation. Emo kids might wear eyeliner, but it would be like pointing at someone with black hair and saying "EMO!"

I thought that most of them looked hot, especially Shuuya. It fit with the PV perfectly, and I was very pleased :)

sorry to burst your bubbles guys, but it was ayu. have you guys not seen jennifer lopez's "get right" video? ayumi played 3 roles in this video, the guy, the nerd, and the dancer. at least i'm 99 percent sure. the guy looked exactly like her, lol.

Well that guys wearing make up can look rather feminine is definitely NOT a stereotype nor being close minded. unfortunately most do, it's not anyone's fault for thinking they actually do. However using the word gay to mean "feminine" is indeed being close minded imo.

Recently, Japanese people are attracted to guys that do make ups. Which means, fem-guys are very popular in Japan. Just look at Ken Hirai ^_^

ken hirai look fem...? I don't think he look feminine, he like some european.
however, Japanese indeed like guy with make up and look feminine, so some young boys(yr 14-16) group is popular for high school studen(female), fsome older(not young as 14-16) artist (esp. for group)also look feminine.

if you have time, you can look at some japan comic(love comic) and see how the main guy look like, you will know :luv2

She definitely didn't play a male dancer. The male dancer who almost kisses Ayu is named Shuuya Mizuno. He also dances in her Countdown Live 04-05 concert.

The main guy was REALLY HOT!!! I am so into Japanese guys again. Kiss him, Ayu! Go for it!

I must be the only one that doesn't think they look that much alike. :) They may have a few similarities but at no time did I wonder whether it was a guy or a girl, much less whether it was Ayu or not.

Also, wearing eye liner does not equal "gay." One would think that should be fairly obvious...

Well, I don't really like the guys in the PV, although they had really cool dance moves. I think basically they were occupying too much airtime. I want to see more of Ayu instead of them, but they do provide the mood for the PV to take place.

Two of them were in INSPIRE. Tsuyoshi ("Gomi") and Michiharu ("Mitsu"). Neither of them were the main guy, though.

Yasu wasn't in Countdown 04/05 either, so he may have left. Otherwise, he may have returned for the My Story Tour which ends today, I think! DVD should come out in the coming months, so we'll see.

*wrinkles her nose* There was one of them that I thought looked incredibly hot... mainly because his hair style reminded me a little of Totchi from Dir en Grey. The guy with too much eyeliner should have just had it in the corners of his eyes because it would have looked better... but other than that, they didn't bother me or anything o.O

I think the eyeliner is wicked hot, it doesn't make guys look femmy (it's the rosy cheeks and lips that does that). Eyeliner makes their eyes pop and gives them a theatrical look. And that's what sort of feel the PV had, very theatrical, very Fosse.

I think the guy with the do-rag and the guy with the goatee were really attractive.

I notice a lot of people talking about the guys being dancers from her tour. In the Deji-deji Diary in May's ViVi, Ayu says: "In this PV, I'm performing with Chiharu, Etsu, and also 6 male dancers that I'm currently on tour with. Chiharu and Etsu make their entrance!! They're so cool! Really sexy. I think I was drooling."
