The album that will be out December 18th will be included 15 tracks and there will be a track with just in Instrumental tune (with no lyric) that will be numbered track 0. the lyric will be made by Fans who can access the site with special password enclosed in the CD, so fans could join the audition of messages that will be writen down as lyric for the track 0 of RAINBOW that will be sell in next year.
As this Album, Ayumi Hamasaki wishes that it will be like 'the box of dream' for people, so after hear it they will feel happy, as the rainbow itself, u can't touch it but you can feel happy for the beauties that blend from 7 different colors.
The cover of RAINBOW was done in Amerika-NY Studio by Leslie Kee (31), a singaporean graduated photographer who done Ayu's Photography on West-East Magazine before. The image is 'crystal ayu', they did it with the up-to-date CG to make the transparent impression like the glass.
The song 'Dolls' in this album was inspired by Takeshi Kitano's movie with the same title. She also made 4 songs with english lyrics, as she knew that her album has been sold not just in Asia, but in other countries too. She also recognized that English is the common language of the world after her visits to 6 different countries such as Hongkong and Taiwan before.

Q: Where is the song, "RAINBOW"?
A: This song is not included in the album, as the song is incomplete. Only the melody has been done, but not the lyrics.

Q: What is so special about the First Press JPN import?
A: It comes with a card, which has a URL and Password in it. Those who own this First Press Album, can access the webpage, either by using internet or a mobile phone(JPN network only).

Q: What does the password and URL do?
A: You can use this password to access the webpage, which has the incomplete song, "RAINBOW". After that, you can submit your comments via a form on the website.

Q: Why is the song, "RAINBOW", incomplete?
A: Ayumi decides to make this song special, by making it a song, which is composed by opinions of fans. Hence, the lyrics are written by fans.

Q: When and how will the complete version of "RAINBOW" be released?
A: It should around Feb~March (not confirm), as the first single by Ayumi in year 2003.

Q: Is it true that "RAINBOW" comes in 7 variants?
A: Its just a rumor. The 7 colored covers found in another post are fake, they were just "colour-tinted" with a Photo Editor. However, it may be true anyway.

Q: Is this a copy-protected CD?
A: It has the same protection, like her latest single (voyage) and remix album (ayuTrance2)

Q: Will the Overseas (Hong Kong) first press come with a bonus?
A: It Should have the same packaging of the JPN first press, however, there may be no Password and URL to listen to "RAINBOW".

Q: Will there be free posters?
A: There should be. And there should be more posters, than the Single's poster, since this is a major release.

Q: What is the budget for a OS version of "RAINBOW" album in SG?
A: Normally around $17-$19 is the cheapest. However, even if they sell at $22 and give posters, just grab it, the posters worth that much anyway!

Q: Where is the best bet for posters?
A: Normally, HMV and Towers have the most, however, they won't come cheap ($23-26). You should be able to get some posters at CD-RAMA and Music Junction (though many say they get out of stock). However, i hate Sembawang (parkway) for having posters and REFUSE TO GIVE!!!.

I'm not so sure. I would rather have her sing in Japanese and wait until she can sing in english perfectly to do anything with English. And well, her singing english is hard to understand sometimes :P Her speaking english sounds great though!

i wonder if i buy the japanese version..would i be able to contribute to the lyrics of RAINBOW since i dun speak good japanese....i'm thinkin 'bout this 'cus i wanna get the overseas version (which is cheaper) but i also wanna talk to ayu or input to the song etc etc. but if i won't be able to do it...then i'll probably save money for later single....

Thanks so much for the translation! I'm very curious to see how much English wil be in this album. It might be a sentence or two or entire songs; we'll find out soon.

I would guess that Avex wouldn't even bother with any suggestions made in English. I'm sure that many of the people at the company that are there to go through the suggestions won't speak English. I dunno, but I'm very skeptical as to whether they would even consider reading English comments. I think that I'm still going to buy the Overseas version, but I'm not 100% sure yet.

I think AYu in English sounds rather nice and I cant wait for this new album. I hope yesasia doesnt screw me over like they did last time, when even tho i preordered Voyage they still waited to give me the oversease version. It stunk. I better get the first pressing of the Japanese cd, or else:curse <--that will be me.

Anyway, i heard Ayu says some words in english while in beijing performance. Anyhow, i dont think she wrote in english for the whole song. Just some part of the songs, like utada's, i guess.
And... about the track 0, I dont think it'll be in this 1st limited release. This 1st release will be just containing password or somethin to access the site to compose the lyrics of song(intsrumental tune) that will be titled 'RAINBOW' and will be in the next release as track 0. That's what i could understand from the article. Hope it's not wrong. I guess 'sansopo' is reliable enough for this news.

firstly... it is more valued than the overseas if example u wanna sell it.... and also... for this album maybe the japan version wilkl give u a secret website to hear the instrumental of the rainbow.. but overseas u might not hear it... and if u wan to noe how which is japan version or overseas version... the tag written in japanese is of cos japanese version.. if the tag writtens chinese..... obviously is overseas version~

The overseas version has Chinese lyrics, but I'm not sure if it has a Chinese translation. There is a little card that is included with each track name and then a bunch of Chinese I can't read. So whether it's lyrics or a translation, I'm not sure.
