This is sad news, Kylie has had some great songs and she's been around for as long as I can remember. I hope she manages to beat breast cancer like Anastacia did.

It was completely benign.

And, poor Kylie, I wish the best for her.

Halla 18th May 2005 08:22 PM

I'd remember reading they discovered the cancer in it's early stages so most likely she'll get better , good for her :)

MsMiyabi 18th May 2005 09:24 PM

I found about this on sunday and I feel really bad! Hopefully treatments works instead of them having to cut one off.

Joel 18th May 2005 10:49 PM

Shes one of those people who don't expect for that kind of thing to happen...

evechoco 24th May 2005 02:41 AM

actually anyone can get cancer, hope kylie get well soon

MsMiyabi 24th May 2005 02:48 AM

Does anyone know what kind of surgury was done ?

ImpactBreaker 24th May 2005 03:07 AM

^Since it was in earlier stages and she's a public figure, lumpectomy was probably the surgery she did (she will need to have local radiotherapy though). I don't think she went through a whole radical mastectomy, but well, I'm just assuming things here, no real evidence.

MsMiyabi 24th May 2005 03:11 AM

Ok thanks !

Qt Mashi 6th June 2005 11:23 AM

MsMiyabi 10th July 2005 06:39 PM

Does anyone have any updates on Kylie?

Cyria 10th July 2005 07:35 PM

A fansite has these updates about Kylie...

Friday 8th July '05
Kylie made her first public appearance today since being diagnosed with breast cancer in May, and won the hearts of even more people by making it an informal visit to a children's cancer ward at Melbourne's Royal Children's Hospital. Looking radiant and the picture of health, despite still being in recovery from her own cancer treatment, her visit also revealed the cat and mouse game she has been playing with the media which has left everyone guessing where she has been staying; it now transpires she has been in Australia all along!

Thursday 7th July '05
Although early days for the treatment of any form of cancer, encouraging news today as Kylie's sister Dannii is quoted in the press as saying that she has just been informed that Kylie "is going to be fine" and that she has been "lucky that her cancer has been treatable".
